AI is everywhere.
But what actually made it to production?
Every year, the Israeli Tech Radar maps what development teams are really using not whatโs trending, but what holds up over time.
Join us for the launch of the 2026โ27 Israeli Tech Radar, built from hands-on work of Tikalโs developers across the Israeli tech industry, together with contributions from leading companies such as Palo Alto Networks, Redis, Viz.ai and more.
To expand and refine the industry picture, the Radar is also based on insights gathered from a wide community survey among development teams.
Now in its 10th edition, Tikalโs Tech Radar is built on hands-on experience and real industry insights. Weโll explore where technologies across Backend, DevOps, Web/Mobile, and AI/ML stand, and whatโs worth trying, starting, keeping, or stopping.
**On the agenda:**
**18:00โ18:30 \| Networking & Snacks**
**18:30โ19:10 \| Israeli Tech Radar 2026\-27 Launch**
Presented by Eitan Masuary, Head of Tech at Tikal.
Eitan will present the key trends shaping the ecosystem, alongside findings from this yearโs
community survey conducted among development teams.
What is actually running in production across AI/ML, Backend, DevOps and Web/Mobile
Which technologies gained traction, which stabilized, and which quietly disappeared
Including a closer look at how AI is moving from experimentation into real production systems.
**19:10โ20:00 \| In\-Depth Panel: From Trends to Action**
Moderated by Eitan Masuary, Head of Tech at Tikal.
A discussion with Tikalโs Tech Leads, exploring the top trends in Backend, DevOps, Web/Mobile and AI/ML (and yes, not only AI!)
**Topics weโll cover:**
* Key trends across Backend, DevOps, Web/Mobile and AI/ML
* How AI is reshaping each domain, from infrastructure to application architecture
* The move from AI experimentation into real production systems
* Technologies gaining traction vs. those starting to fade across the stack
* How these shifts are changing engineering practices and tech decisions
Weโll also announce the winners of the Tech Radar survey raffle during the event, among participants who completed the survey by May 25th.
**Havenโt filled the Radar Survey out yet?**
This is your chance to contribute your perspective and be part of this yearโs Radar! >> [Take me to the survey](https://tkl.to/tikal-m-radar-survey-26)
See you on the Radar!

From Tools to ๐ Teammates: Building & Orchestrating Autonomous AI Agents
An AI mission to Jupiter was supposed to **fail**.
There wasnโt enough โฝ fuel.
\>\> **[RSVP & Details here](https://www.wix.engineering/ai-agents-from-tools-to-teammates)** <<
But instead of crashing, the AI agents argued, rejected the plan, and reinvented the mission together...
Thatโs the shift happening right now in software engineering: AI agents are evolving from tools into teammates.
Join our next Wix Engineering Meetup (**June 15**), to learn from **Dror Arazi** and **Or Goldreich** what it really takes to build and evaluate autonomous AI systems:
โ
Build and orchestrate multi-agent AI systems
๐ Measure AI reliability, reasoning, and decision-making
๐ง Design AI agents that collaborate instead of just execute
๐ป Prepare for the next era of AI-native software engineering

Smart Search + AI: An Outcome-Driven Journey from IDP to a Suite of AI
Over a billion documents processed. Millions of Veterans impacted. Hundreds of thousands of employee hours saved. Faster decisions. Greater accuracy. More benefits in the hands of our disabled Veterans.
We created Smart Search, the worldโs largest consumer of Amazon Textract, right when GenAI began reshaping whatโs possible. Since then, weโve built a suite of AIโdriven solutions that transform this data into real, measurable outcomesโaccelerating benefits decisions for our Nationโs Veterans.
Join us for a focused conversation on how an outcomeโdriven approach to AI is helping us boost accuracy, streamline workflows, and deliver faster results for those who have served.
This is a follow up to the AWS re:Invent 2023 "Intelligent Document Processing with Gen AI for Public Sector" presentation.

Battle of the personal agents
Join the Columbus AI community for a special event.
**Battle of the Personal Agents** is your chance to see what people are actually building with AI agents and personal automation systems. Whether youโre running OpenClaw, Hermes, or a completely custom solution, bring your agent and show the community how it works.
Weโre interested in real-world implementations: the problems your agent solves, how you use it day-to-day, how itโs hosted and managed, how you built it, and why youโve chosen to keep using it. Live demonstrations are encouraged, so be prepared to show your code, architecture, workflows, and your agent performing real tasks.
This is less about polished presentations and more about sharing practical experience, comparing approaches, and learning from one another. If youโd like to present, please contact Chris Slee (via meetup) before the event so we can allocate enough time for everyoneโs demonstrations.
Come ready to show what youโve built, discover what others are doing, and maybe find a few ideas worth taking home.
Whether youโre deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.
