UX Monday - How to build companies & products in 2026!
How do you actually build products and companies in 2026 — when AI is no longer a side experiment but a core part of how work gets done?
This UX Monday, we're bringing you **two talks from practitioners who live this every day** — no demo prompting, no theoretical AI strategies. Just real stories, real setups, and real lessons from the trenches of product work and startup operations.
**What you'll discover:**
* How AI shifts the interface between design, product, and engineering — and what that means for your role
* Practical approaches to building knowledge hubs that give AI agents the context they need
* Concrete workflows for using AI agents across design, ops, communication, and decision-making
* Why context engineering matters more than vibe coding — and where to start
Whether you're a designer, PM, developer, researcher, or founder — these talks offer a grounded, no-BS perspective on what it actually looks like to work with AI as a collaborator in 2026.
**Featured Speakers:**
**[Honza Valder](https://www.linkedin.com/in/janvalder/)** — *Practical AI for hot-dog stand personnel*
Not a talk about tools or a prompting demo — it's a story about how product work changes when AI becomes part of the workflow. Honza shares his journey through the past year (sabbatical, experimenting, Orbiso) as a series of concrete situations where AI stopped being a toy and became a practical collaborator. Expect a strong emphasis on mindset: don't wait for a "company AI strategy" — try things in real work, learn the limits, and plug AI in where it makes sense. He'll cover where AI has real team impact — project context, documentation, prototyping in a real stack — and close with practical implications for designers, researchers, PMs, and developers.
**[Šimon Jůn](https://www.linkedin.com/in/simon-jun/)** — COO @ [dotidot.io](http://dotidot.io) — *AI Agents in Startup Life*
A practical look at how AI agents and knowledge hubs work in everyday startup operations — from the perspective of a designer and COO in one person. Šimon will walk through how to set up knowledge hubs that give agents real context, share concrete flows for using agents in design, ops, communication, documentation, and decision-making, and explain why context engineering beats vibe coding every time. Real tools, real workflows, real lessons.
Hosted by **[Michal Strnadel](https://www.linkedin.com/in/michal-strnadel/)** \| Chairman of the Board @ [Asociace UX](https://www.asociaceux.cz/)
This event is OFFLINE and conducted in English, making it welcoming to expat friends. Don't miss this opportunity to expand your knowledge and network!
\*\*\*
Event Schedule:
* **18:00** – Opening of the premises, refreshments, and networking
* **18:30** – Talks begin
* **20:00** – End of the program (+beer around the corner)

This event is open to everyone, and admission is voluntary.

Czech Co-Learning Session 🇨🇿
Learning Czech can be hard and demotivating, especially when studying alone.
**This meetup is a shared study session where we come together to stay focused, motivated, and make progress — each in our own way.**
This is a co-learning / co-studying session, not a class. There is no teacher, no lesson, and no study material provided.
Everyone comes with their own resources and studies independently, in a shared environment.
🧠 **How it works**
• We all bring our own material:
• textbooks
• homework from a Czech course
• Duolingo or other apps
• reading practice
• vocabulary review, etc.
• We mainly work individually
• We are free to:
• ask questions
• help each other
• share tips and resources
• No teacher, no formal structure, no pressure
👥 **Who is it for?**
• Czech learners of all levels
• Non-Czech speakers (expats, internationals)
• Czech native speakers are welcome if they want to help, but this is not a language exchange
⏱ **Practical info**
• Location: Cafedu
12, Škrétova 490, 120 00 Praha 2
(Metro A and C, Muzeum station)
• Duration: 2 hours, or less or more, as you want
• Day & time: Monday, 18:00
• Group size: small group for now
• Free event — please support the café by ordering a drink ☕
If you’re learning Czech and lack motivation when studying alone, come join us — let’s find it together 🙂
Fun JVM pub meeting
No lecture or talk. Just beer or your preferred beverage, good food and the awesome people from the Fun JVM community.
The venue is Zluta Pumpa at Vinohrady.
Agentic Startup Canvas and Ideas for Agentic Software
Next Meetup: Agentic Startup Canvas & Ideas for Agentic Software
🕕 Start time: 18:00
📍 Productboard HQ — Boudníkova 2506/1, 180 00 Praha 8-Palmovka (DOCK IN THREE, Libeň)
***
I hope you enjoyed the first Prague AI-Driven Software Meetup — 90 people showed up, and the turnout alone proved there's real momentum for building a serious community around AI-native software in Czechia and Europe. We're taking that energy and turning it into something even more practical: a working session focused on what to build next.
***
### What we'll do
We'll open with the Agentic Startup Canvas — a practical framework redesigned for the realities of agentic software. Classic canvases were built for products with static features and predictable workflows. Agentic products behave differently: they act, adapt, learn, coordinate, and operate inside real human environments. The canvas gives us a shared language for the evening.
But the heart of the session is the opportunity itself. We'll walk through the agentic opportunity clusters — the 14 categories where the most significant shifts are already happening, from AI execution layers and trust infrastructure to workflow automation, research systems, embodied autonomy, and new institutional primitives. We'll look at which clusters are earliest, which are most capital-efficient to enter, and where the real white space is for founders who are paying attention right now.
The goal is not a survey. It's a working discussion: which opportunities are real, which are overhyped, what is actually buildable today, and where the leverage is highest for a small team that moves fast. We want people to leave with a sharper map of the agentic landscape and a stronger conviction — or useful doubt — about what's worth building next.
***
### Research pack: shared for free
Before the meetup, we will share research inside the Discord community. The output will be compiled into a structured, high-signal research pack — made available for free to everyone attending. It will include emerging categories, patterns, promising "agentic wedges," and a curated map of where the biggest leverage seems to be right now. T
### The session will be anchored around two pieces of research published this month:

### Speakers
This meetup includes short opening talks to set the frame, followed by guided discussion and idea work.
**Cedric Maloux** — Investor & Accelerationist, StartupYard
StartupYard is the oldest accelerator in the Czech Republic. Cedric brings an investor's lens to the agentic opportunity — what makes an agentic startup fundable, how to recognize the strongest opportunities, and what separates the ideas worth building from the ones that will get commoditized fast.
**Dominik Ilichman** — Senior AI Product Manager, Productboard
Building AI-native product experiences at one of Central Europe's most respected product-led SaaS companies. Dominik will share what the agentic shift looks like from the inside, having worked on the most radical feature in Productboard, the all integrated AI called Spark — what it means for how software is designed, shipped, and used at scale.
Open Game Night
It's open gaming night again! Come alone (or with friends) and meet some new people to game with. Just look for the 'Open Gaming' table(s) and feel free to sit in. We'll keep the games pretty light, so if you don't know many games, don't feel intimidated. Instruction is always available.
(70,- gaming fee still applies)
English Conversation (Bohnice, Praha 8)
Hi all! My name is Cara, and I am a native English speaker from America living in Prague. This a meet up for t**hose learning English as a second language** and want the **opportunity to practice**. It will be a fun and relaxed setting where we will play games to **promote English conversations** or have some kind of activity. This club will meet \*\*every other (two Mondays each month) Monday evening.\*\*The goal is for each person to walk away having learned new English words and have more confidence when speaking in English.
Please, bring some money if you want to purchase a coffee from Evento.
**This event is sponsored by a church.** The church that sponsors this English meet up is **Církev bratrská, Bohnice** [https://www.cbbohnice.cz](https://www.cbbohnice.cz/) . We want to live lives that are reflective of Jesus. Like Jesus we want to help others in meeting a practical need, in this case that would be speaking in English. At the end of the English club, we will extend an invite to anyone who is interested in exploring faith, wants to know more about Jesus, or wants to meet up to read from the Bible. However, we will never trick you into attending and will always be honest about the content of our meetings. *You do not have to attend religious events to be a part of English Club.*

In his talk, he will share actionable strategies for mastering resource cost management within AWS S3.
**Paweł Kusiński:**
Penetration Tester and Security Researcher focused on app and cloud security. His work includes penetration tests and infrastructure audits across a wide range of IT projects. Passionate about knowledge sharing, he leads workshops, gives conference talks, teaches at universities, and is an AWS Community Builder.

☞ will speak about:
Time goes by, AWS keeps adding new security features, and yet year after year, we hear about more data leaks and breaches involving S3 buckets. Data spills by the terabyte, companies apologize, and shortly after, the cycle repeats.
How does this keep happening? What is the core problem? How do attackers find their targets? We’ll walk through the most common methods and configuration mistakes - and if time allows, we’ll try to secure everything properly as well! And who knows - maybe we'll uncover a million-dollar leak during the presentation?

**TALK ABSTRACT:**
AI is all the hype these days; however, despite (or maybe because of) the excitement around it, a high percentage of AI projects fail. Projects that are over budget, delayed, or that fail to scale past the POC phase are very common. In many of these scenarios, choosing the right approach can be as critical as the solution itself. Should you build a tailored machine learning model, leverage the power of large language models (LLMs), or integrate with AI copilots? Each option has unique strengths, trade-offs, and resource requirements, and the key to success lies in aligning your choice with your business goals and technical constraints.
In this talk, we will go beyond the basic concepts and definitions to provide a practical guide that allows attendees to navigate these decisions through real-world case studies. We will examine scenarios in which different AI paradigms were chosen, discuss the factors that influenced those decisions, and outline the process for evaluating needs, constraints, and outcomes. From assessing data availability and team expertise to balancing cost and scalability, you'll gain insights into the critical considerations that guide the selection process.
By the end of this session, you’ll have a clear process for determining whether machine learning, LLMs, or copilots are best suited to your AI challenges and understand the resources and strategies needed to bring your chosen solution to life. This talk is ideal for decision-makers, technical leads, and innovators seeking to demystify AI implementation and maximize the impact of their investments.
