We reserve our right to adapt the setup according to the audience level, vibe, health, weather, shape etc SETUP ● 2 courts (2 vs 2), 1 team is rotating or taking a rest court 1: minim 6 players court 2: minim 4 players ● 2 courts - 10-12 people (more players, we make small teams and play shorts, all combination; the hosts have the last word. proposals are welcome) ● The event organisers or experienced player are entitled to send players on the second court ● We are respectfull and warm with each other, our cultural and professional background is diverse. ● New proposals are welcome :). Sometimes we adapt. ● The host toghether with the regular players, can ask new or misbehaved players to step out from the court, in order to maintain the good vibes Price to pay (in cash) (Aprox, for this season, could vary with 1-2 euros) ■ 12 euros for 1h ■ 20 euros for 2h ■ If you need a racket, you can rent it from us for 2 € (if available). For this we understand both advanced people, who want to consume their energy, and the social people who play for fun. Dear all, We will do the next stargazing trip to Melk. **Meeting point:** 18:45 at Westbahnhof in front of Anker. Please show up on time. We will use this time to get to know each other and make sure everyone is comfortable with the group. **Departure:** CJX5 from Westbahnhof, departing at 19:18. **Return:** CJX5 from Melk Bahnhof, departing at 23:40. **Tickets:** \~45 Euros round-trip (without Vorteilscard). **What to expect:** We will arrive in Melk \~20:20, walk for \~1 hour away from the urban area, cross the Danube, and find a good spot. Depending on conditions and preferences, plans may get updated on the spot. If the weather is on our side, we may see the Milky Way and a moonrise. RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. Please **pack more layers** than you think would be necessary. 2. A **red-light headlight** is highly recommended for navigation in the dark to protect our night vision. 3. **Insect repellent spray**. 4. A **blanket** to make yourself comfortable. SAFETY AND LOGISTICS: I will take a **group picture** before boarding the train, and do **location sharing** for the entire time that we are outdoors. Since stargazing is highly weather-dependent, **the trip may be canceled up to 4 hours before departure**, so please check then for final confirmation. We have a fabulous party planned for America's 250th birthday! Join a small group of like-minded hikers for a full-day adventure on Saturday, July 4, culminating in a shared summit picnic on Hohe Veitsch (1,981 m), the highest peak in the Mürzsteg Alps. From the summit, you’ll be rewarded with a stunning 360-degree panorama of the surrounding mountains and valleys, making the ascent well worth the effort. **🤔 FITNESS LEVEL** Although this full-day adventure requires no technical skills, **you should have moderate endurance to comfortably complete a \~18 km route with around 900 m of elevation gain and descent**. If you are new to hiking, it is recommended to join shorter or less demanding hikes first to better assess your fitness and hiking ability. **🥪 SHARED SUMMIT PICNIC** As this event is a shared picnic hike, please bring a bite-size finger food item to share with fellow hikers. Be inspired like Beethoven, who roamed these hills in 1814. After gathering at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) we'll catch a 20-minute train to a quaint municipality just outside Vienna. A short walk will lead us straight through town and up to its thick walled neo-Gothic church. There, we start our proper hike up and around this picturesque mountain with its token 12th-century castle, which also starred in Stephen Herek's "The Three Musketeers". Expect a lush pine forest, magnificent views and impressive medieval architecture. But that's not all. Underway we'll also take a detour to the nearby Seegrotte, Europe's largest underwater lake.
