Brompton Social Ride - Calle Libre
Brompton Social Ride - Calle Libre
**2.** Deine Sicherheit liegt in deiner Verantwortung. BMWC- Bohemian Moravian Witches' Conference!
✨ **BMWC 30 — The Mysteries of Crossroads** ✨ **June 2–7, 2026 • Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic** **Well, we've been talking it up at open rituals and pub moots all year, and now here it is:** Friends, we’re thrilled to share that **registration is now open** for **BMWC 30**, the 30th anniversary edition of the *Bohemian and Moravian Witches’ Conference*—an extraordinary gathering of pagans, witches, and seekers from across Europe and beyond. **This is not OUR Event, but:** This beautiful event is **organized by our friends in the Czech Republic**—associated with (but not exactly the same as) the *Czech Pagan Society* (**[https://pohanskaspolecnost.cz/](https://pohanskaspolecnost.cz/)**) and rooted in decades of community, growth, and shared magic. You can explore more about the conference and its history at **[bmwc.org/en](https://bmwc.org/en/)**. BMWC is unlike a typical festival or workshop series. It’s a **participatory, immersive experience** where rituals, workshops, lectures, nature walks, fire gatherings, storytelling, dance, and play blend into a week of deep inner journeying and joyful connection. Over the years we have attended again and again because *it really is that much fun*—the people are warm, the energy is inspiring, and friendships formed there last for years. This year’s theme, **“The Mysteries of Crossroads”** (*Tam, kde se cesty kříží*), invites us to explore transformation, choice, and the places where paths meet—both in the world and within ourselves. 💫 **Important Notes for Newcomers** * BMWC is a **private, invitation-only event**, but *new participants are very much welcome to apply*. * There’s a **multi-step application process**, and you want to **start today** if you’re interested in attending. * To get on the invitation list, first fill out the *Newcomer Registration Form* here: 👉[ ]( https://bmwc.org/en/registration-form-for-newcomers)**[https://bmwc.org/en/registration-form-for-newcomers]( https://bmwc.org/en/registration-form-for-newcomers)[/](https://bmwc.org/en/registration-form-for-newcomers/)** * Once accepted, you’ll receive an invitation with details on how to register for the event itself. * Registration for BMWC 30 is open until **midnight on January 7, 2026**, and due to high interest, spots will be selected based on contribution, community ties, and a fair lottery. 📌 **Event Details** * 📅 **June 2–7, 2026** — Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic * 🧑‍🤝‍🧑 **Capacity:** \~80 participants (including children) * 💰 **Price per adult:** CZK 4,400 (approx. €180 / $200) – Deposit: CZK 2,000 due by **Feb 15, 2026** – Balance due by **May 1, 2026** * 🧒 **Children 3–11 years:** CZK 3,000 (deposit CZK 1,200) * 👶 **Children under 3:** Free (no bed or meals included) * Price includes **full board, accommodation, program activities** * Whether you’re seeking deep learning, new friendships, or simply magic in the woods with fellow pagans, **BMWC is an experience not to miss**—and we’ve got years of good memories to vouch for it. 🌿 Start your application today — don’t wait! Please pay to the host in cash and bring the exact amount with you. If you would like to pay online, please send the host a message. **7**🚨 Cancellation policy: If you're unable to show up, sign-out at least 24h before showtime. TUESDAY 👋⚽ FOOTBALL FRIENDLY 20:30-22:00 (Donaucity) w/ SORIN +Video Highlights
Things to know before playing: Ladies and Gentlemen, boys and girls; We play Tuesday Night Football (outdoor only) . We play 90 minutes (kick off is at 20:30, and we meet at least 15 minutes before for a warm up phase). Post-Corona football matches are most likely between 14-16 and 28-32 players. If you would like to join please bring artificial turf shoes (like the ones for indoor turf) and shin pads (not mandatory but definitely recommendable). All I ask is that you come with a good mood, be respectful to everyone, and pay online using the link below. [Tuesday Night via FOOTxp football website](https://footballexperiences.net/kickaball/p/tuesdaynightfootball/) **Other methods for payments.** **Erste Bank Transfer**: **Sorin-Florian Brici** **AT27 2011 1829 5564 7001** **\*[Revolut](https://revolut.me/brici)** \- Recommended\! **\* [Wise](https://wise.com/pay/me/sorinb256)** \- Also recommended\! **\*[Paypal](https://www.paypal.com/paypalme/sorinSocial/)** \- Please use non\-Commercial product We play light: no sliding, hard tackling, fighting, screaming, & hopefully no injuries. We need to respect current regulations in Vienna, Austria. The main priorities are to have fun and being safe. The drinks are relatively free after the game in the local pub, served to those who have shown fantastic football fair-play skills. We will confirm the location, the pitches, and the dressing room numbers via our dedicated Football WhatsApp group/s. Keep an eye out for the group messages. See you all soon. Sorin SMS/ WhatsApp +43 6764276984 (please ask to be added to our football groups). We will probably need to confirm your presence if you are coming for the first or second time. Important management rule: **\> "No shows" are penalized with 10€ fee\. Please remove your name from the list at least SIX\!\!\! \(6\) HOURS before the event\.** Book a place via FootballExperiences.NET using this link [FOOTxp](https://footballexperiences.net/kickaball/) One small final note: Please avoid trying to take justice in your hands. If someone is talking bad, complaining, insulting someone, fouling on purpose or committing the usual football shenanigans, please let the organizers know. Measures will be taken, we assure you. Any misbehavior on your part, such as responding in an obscene way, fighting, or leaving the pitch is not a practical and diplomatic way of resolving the issues (it tends to create more tension and cause more problems). Let’s be respectful and mature and try to enjoy the game we all love. That’s why we’re all here. Get to know people from all over the world and have fun! Thank you. Sorin

Hiking Trip from Vienna
Hiking Trip from Vienna
**Wachau Trip: Scenic Hike & Dürnstein Ruins** ❗️Even if Meetup shows the event as full, please still join the WA group and fill out the registration form. The form will indicate whether there are still spots available for the hike❗️ Join the WA group for the information: https://chat.whatsapp.com/GqWhKBUCR5RAhI6WUguIcR?mode=gi_t —————— An adventure that’s still doable for most people — but not so easy that it gets boring. And trust me, the views are absolutely worth it. This one is going to be a hit. 📅 Date: June 7 🕒 Time: ~8:00 📍 Location: Franz-Josefs-Bahnhof **What makes it special:** — breathtaking viewpoints over the Danube valley — charming Dürnstein village — a visit to the famous castle ruins 📏 Distance: ~5–6 km ⛰ Elevation: ~330 m ⏱ Duration: ~2.5 hours (plus breaks & photos) **About the hike:** This route is sometimes classified as red or black. But I’ve done it several times, and it’s absolutely manageable if you’re reasonably active. It’s definitely more challenging than a typical Stadtwanderweg, but far from an extreme hike. ⚠️ **Expect:** – some steep and narrow sections with cables – a few rocky parts – beautiful exposed views 👉 You don’t need climbing experience, but you should: – feel comfortable walking on uneven terrain – not have a strong fear of heights – have basic fitness level Perfect for active people who want a bit of adventure, but not a hardcore hike. 🥾 Hiking shoes are a must 💶 **Participation fee:** 30 € (including train & bus tickets) 👥 **Group size:** strictly limited to 14 participants I keep the group intentionally small so the experience stays comfortable, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. **Participation is confirmed only after prepayment.** 🎫 **If you have a Klimaticket:** Just mention it in the registration form, and you’ll only pay a 12 € organizational fee. In case of bad weather conditions the trip will be postponed. 🚸The main goal of my trips is about enjoying the moment, meeting new people, and making beautiful places accessible even if you’re not a pro. ——————— ❗️Please make sure to fill out the registration form: the link will be posted in the WA group ❗️

Social Hike: Beethoven Hills + Seegrotte
Social Hike: Beethoven Hills + Seegrotte
Be inspired like Beethoven, who roamed these hills in 1814. After gathering at Vienna Main Station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) we'll catch a 20-minute train to a quaint municipality just outside Vienna. A short walk will lead us straight through town and up to its thick walled neo-Gothic church. There, we start our proper hike up and around this picturesque mountain with its token 12th-century castle, which also starred in Stephen Herek's "The Three Musketeers". Expect a lush pine forest, magnificent views and impressive medieval architecture. But that's not all. Underway we'll also take a detour to the nearby Seegrotte, Europe's largest underwater lake. A mystical place brimming with history. Price includes train tickets and friendly host. Entrance fee for the 1-hour Seegrotte guided tour and boat ride is \~EUR 18 (not included). To secure your spots, please ... Step 1: RSVP here on Meetup first (optional but recommended) Step 2: Complete your booking at https://vienna.ixpat.com/beethoven
Transformative Trencin (from Vienna)
Transformative Trencin (from Vienna)
Crowned European Capital of Culture 2026 under the motto "Awakening Curiosity", beautiful Trencin lies right on the Vah, Slovakia's longest river. From Vienna main station, a quick train whisks us over to the Slovak capital in less than 60 minutes. There, we have a quick break before taking another express train to our destination. Once arrived, the immediate thing catching our eyes is Trencin castle, the city's dominant feature. Before making our way up castle hill through Brezina Park, we first wander through the town's quaint city core along baroque Hotel Elizabeth, elongated Mierové Square, the medieval Parish Stairway built in 1568 and Gothic St. Michael's Carner. Underway we'll have fun with ice breakers, discussion prompts and local trivia. After dinner, we take a casual walk along the Vah river bank back to the station. Heading westwards, our return train follows the stunning silhouette of the Lower Carpathians. To secure your spots, please ... Powell Gold Star Referral Club Meetup
We meet at lunch each week and each meeting follows a fairly organized agenda. First all participants pass their business cards around. Then each member and guest is invited to give a one-minute overview of their company and what is a perfect referral for the week. We always have a 10 minute presentation from one of the members about their business in more detail. And finally we pass referrals. You're welcome to visit. Nobody is ever put on the spot. Bring plenty of cards!

This session is open forum to share your current projects—whether complete or in progress, it’s all interesting! Whether you’re deep into embedded systems, exploring new ideas, or just getting started, you’ll find a welcoming space to collaborate, share, and get inspired. **New to electronics or curious about tinkering?** You’re absolutely welcome. If you’re a beginner and want to experiment, I’ll have a couple of starter kits available so you can try things out—whether that’s blinking your first LED, putting something on a display, or experimenting with simple sensors. No pressure and no experience required—just an interest in learning and building. While we continue to pursue a more permanent venue for this Meetup, we’ll be using public library facilities based on availability. This session will be at the Worthington Park Library in the Olentangy Meeting Room.
