For this month, we will focus on the theme of friendship and why friendship is highly valued in the realm of anime shows. It is a cliche for those who have watched many anime shows but let's dig a little deeper. The ancient Roman Philosopher Cicero explored friendship in his treatise De Amicitia (On Friendship), arguing that true friendship requires virtue, mutual goodwill, and is a natural inclination of the soul, not a transactional relationship. He stressed that it is essential to choose friends carefully based on inner character rather than superficial reasons like wealth or social status, and that friendship requires testing for qualities like loyalty and honesty. You can reference all your favourite anime shows to make a case for friendship themes. We will be in a nice classy Doubletree Hilton Hotel to have our discussion. It is quiet and cozy. If you are an introvert and have anxieties for meeting new people, I will warmly welcome you and introduce you to people. There's no pressure to talk immediately, you can also observe the discussion. The smart-guided tour is mostly through scenic riverside parks with a quick downtown peek. All of that in 10 miles! 83% of the route is bikeway, and the rest is Google Maps designated "bicycle-friendly roads". This short ride passes through several beautiful riverside parks. Passing through downtown the route runs alongside Huntington Park baseball stadium, Nationwide Arena hockey stadium, near North Market (worth a stop if you enjoy markets with lots of tasty treats), within a few blocks of the state capitol, convention center, art museum, center of science and industry, several first-class hotels, and much more (see Points of Interest list below). Easily, anywhere along the way, the tour can be detoured to nearby points of interest. This smart-guided route comes with CycleNuts' 50% downhill guarantee. Sweating is optional. We will see the 6 PM showing and I will post my seat so that we can sit together. We can grab something to eat after if people want and chat to round out the experience.
