Home to the French Embassy and the Lycée Charles de Gaulle, South Kensington has become famous as the contemporary ‘French area’ of London, an area teeming with French landmarks, buildings and history. This tour includes the Ambassade de France, Michelin House, Institut Français, Lycée Français and the Royal Albert Hall. You’ll learn about Napoleon III, the Free French and the Entente Cordiale, whilst enjoying a gentle two-hour walk taking in some of the most beautiful parts of Hyde Park and South Kensington. We will start from the French Embassy, close to Knightsbridge Station and on the side of Hyde Park, and then, going to Albert Memorial, to South Kensington ending in front of the Institut Français. This stroll is a refreshing opportunity to find out more about French presence in London and to speak French in an relaxed way. Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country. It'll be packed with lots of camaraderie playing your game(s) and other's games on the 2nd floor as well as the 1st floor in the gaming room below the mezzanine.
