Everybody's welcome, regardless of their background and knowledge level: if you've got any interest in games, we'll make sure you have a good time! This is NOT an event only aimed at developers. The event series is sponsored by [Happy Broccoli](https://www.happybroccoligames.com/), the Berlin indie game studio behind the Duck Detective series. If you'd also like to sponsor the event, [please get in touch](https://berlingamescene.com/contact)! • • • • • **HOW IT WORKS** The event is made of 2 parts: * TALK: Game-related presentations + announcements from the community * PLAY: All participants are welcome to exhibit projects they've made • • • • • **AGENDA** * **18:30** Doors open, project showcase starts * **19:30 to 20:30** Talks & community announcements * **22:00** Event ends • • • • • **THE TALK PART (PRESENTATIONS)** **Alexander Pieper aka "Pepe": OpSec for Game Developers** As game developers we pour all our love into our games and it's time that we bring that same love to keeping them safe. *Growing up during the golden age of video games (the 90s), I turned my passion into a profession and built over 15 years of experience in game development and studio leadership.* [alex-pieper.de](https://www.alex-pieper.de) // @alexpieper.bsky.social After the talk there will be a section dedicated to short announcements from the community, get in touch to reserve a spot: info@berlingamescene.com — same goes if your company is hiring or wants to announce something and you'd like to get a sponsored slot! • • • • • **THE PLAY PART (SHOWCASE)** These are the projects that will be shown during the evening: * **[Burnout Simulator](https://www.tinker.games/)** by Tinker eG * **[Curiosmos](https://curiosmos.space/)** by Céline & the silly stars * **[Demiurgio](https://jamjarjet.dev/)** by Jan Jar Jet * **Dino Party** by Studio Nachtwerk * **[DOS JUNK](https://byfernando.pages.dev/projects/dosbox/)** by Fernando Ramallo * **F-E-W Nexus & Techno-Feudals** by Egehan Layik * **[Frogrammer](store.steampowered.com/app/3584240/Frogrammer/)** by João Azuaga * **[Greta Sees Ghosts!](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3728490/Greta_Sees_Ghosts/)** by I Knew It! - Games * **[Hot Pink Detective](https://superposepress.com/2025/01/30/hot-pink-detective/)** by Superpose Press * **[Hydronaut](https://bsky.app/profile/martinsvanberg.bsky.social)** by Martin Svanberg * **[Leon's Mahjong](https://leonsmahjong.com/)** by Lucas Dima * **[Office Rush'95 -Future Edition-](https://s4g.itch.io/office-rush-95)** by Team Tea Time * **[Prophet Margin](https://store.steampowered.com/app/3624110/Prophet_Margin/)** by Stellar Cartography Interactive UG * **[Seaward](https://theroofinteractive.com/)** by THE ROOF Interactive * **[Skippebble](https://s4g.itch.io/skippebble)** by Team Machbar * **[Snaking Around](https://www.chaoticentertainment.com/snaking-around)** by Chaotic Entertainment * **[SOKO 1977: Anti Terror Task Force](https://www.bpb.de/lernen/games/569548/6-weeks/)** by Paintbucket Games * **[Tacn](https://rhoeberg.itch.io/tacn)** by Rasmus & Emile * **[Tequila Moonrise](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4435080/Tequila_Moonrise/)** by Black Swan Games * **[The Sad Knight](https://bsky.app/profile/svenahlgrimm.bsky.social)** by Sven Ahlgrimm * **[Tiny Drift](https://store.steampowered.com/app/4512970/Tiny_Drift/)** by Inácio Schweller * **[Unicycle Madness](https://play.date/games/unicycle-madness/)** by Jonathan Hoschkara & Isa Spitznagel * **[What the Shell](https://whattheshell.games/)** by Ludisto * **[Why Does Paper Bleed](https://www.linkedin.com/in/k%C3%A4the-keller-55999510a/)** by Käthe Keller & Samir Riecke • • • • • **ADDITIONAL INFO** Since restarting the event in 2023 we have asked attendees to wear a face mask. This requirement feels incredibly anachronistic these days so at the end of 2025 we decided to drop the requirement. That being said, **we ask everyone showing any signs of illness to be considerate and refrain from attending the event**. FFP2 masks will continue to be available at the door and we support anyone who feels like wearing one to protect themselves and others 💜 Are you attending the event for the first time, or are you coming on your own? The Talk & Play Ambassadors will be there to assist and answers any questions you have. Our Safe Space Policy http://berlingamescene.com/safe-space-policy/ encourages the behaviour at Talk & Play. We request that everyone who is affiliated with and participates to the event honours it. Our event is documented by Julian Dasgupta https://www.flickr.com/photos/12601747@N00/albums — for those who don’t want to be appear in any pictures, we're going to distribute stickers at the door to wear and signal this. Alcoholic drinks will not be sold or allowed to be consumed during the event. UE is a partially accessible venue. Feel free to contact us about your access requirements. Soundground: free improvised music workshop
Soundground: free improvised music workshop
**A place to meet sound, without maps** Facilitated by **Vesti Gium (they/them)** Everyone enters as they are. No score. No threshold of skill. We follow the room, moment by moment— listening, nudging, letting the music find itself. A breath, a shoelace, a laugh, a footstep— each carries weight. Silence is welcomed; noise is celebrated. There are no wrong directions here. We practise a listening that reaches outward and inward: to ourselves, to one another, to the space we shape together. That is where the music begins. * 🌀 Bring a voice, an object, an instrument, a movement—or nothing at all. * ✨ **Priority given to FLINTA folks and people with migration backgrounds.** * 🎧 No experience needed. Curiosity is enough. * 📍 Berlin – \[theodorstraße 5,12099] * 🗓 Every Wednesday 17: 30 * 📬 DM or email **[vestigium.impro@gmail.com](mailto:vestigium.impro@gmail.com)** to join Come make sound—come be heard.

Finishing Tracks With Biesmans – Live Studio Workshop
Finishing Tracks With Biesmans – Live Studio Workshop
**[TICKETS FOR SALE ON EVENTBRITE](https://www.eventbrite.com/e/finishing-tracks-with-biesmans-tickets-1986358765539)** Most producers don't have an unfinished track problem. They have a too-much-going-on problem. Too many elements, too many layers, too many decisions left unmade. The track loses its identity somewhere in the process. This workshop is about finding it again. **Biesmans** — Berlin-based producer and DJ with nearly 30 years in the house and techno scene — opens up his actual working process in real time. No slides, no theory, no tutorial. Just a real track getting meaningfully better in front of the room. **How it works:** Participants submit an unfinished track in advance. Biesmans selects one, preps it, and works on it live during the session — talking through every decision as he makes it. The rest of the time is open Q&A where participants can bring their own questions and challenges. **Format:** * Duration: 3 hours * Participants submit one track + one question before the workshop * Live session: 90–120 minutes * Open Q&A: 60 minutes * Wrap + next steps: 15 minutes

Join us for **games**, **talks**, and **connections** with **friends you haven’t met yet**. Get to the heart of the matter, dive straight into what really counts!” - Matthias 🗣 “F\*ck the Small Talk changes the narrative from "Where are you from?" to "When was the last time you laughed uncontrollably?" and I think that's beautiful.” - Monika 🗣 “I loved F\*ck the Small Talk, I was a little bit nervous at first but they are pros at making you feel comfortable with the rest of the group, the activities are really fun and I enjoyed every second (consider that the one who's saying this is very, very shy). Give it a try!” - Brenda 🗣 "It’s a wonderful experience, it’s like being a kid again, when you were at the park, playing with other kids, and just decided you were going to be best friends for the next hours. Maybe you’ll never see those kids again. But that hour was amazing because you both opened up and trusted each other." - Sara [Check out our 130+ Google reviews here](https://www.google.com/maps/place/EPIC+LLAMA/@29.4255256,-41.3746386,3z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x0:0xf758abc88e22289c!8m2!3d29.4255256!4d-41.3746386?sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiAydX55IP9AhWWQjABHejpCCkQ_BJ6BAhWEAg&coh=164777&entry=tt&shorturl=1)[ ](https://goo.gl/maps/TpZy77bfPFkGoikn7)💛 *(these are real humans, we promise!)* **🤓 FAQ** **• What's the age range?** Most people who come to our events are between 24 and 40 years old. Please try again next time if do not receive an invite - no hard feelings 💛 **• Why do you charge?** We value our time and put a lot of love, planning, and effort into creating & designing these experiences. ♥️ This is our project/business and what we give to the world and we think everything should be a fair exchange! 🎈 However, money should never be the reason for people not to attend. If you can’t afford it send us a message! **• Can I bring my pet llama?** 100% yes, any *well-behaved* pets are highly encouraged as long as you can still focus on connecting with the humans around you! Embodied Consent
Embodied Consent
🔵 **Embodied Consent** with **Kuem** for **LGBTIQA+** Free **[Registration Required](https://wearevillage.org/en/shop/embodied-consent/w17-2026-2/)** **Learning about boundaries and communication**. If you have not yet attended a workshop on Consent in the Village, now is the time! This workshop is highly recommended for anyone wishing to visit our project on a regular basis, or to attend one of our workshops. This experience will not only help you navigate within the we.are.village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Being aware of your boundaries and expressing your consent or non-consent are essential skills in life, but we don’t often get a chance to actually practice consent skills in the same way we practice other skills, like singing, playing sports or learning a language. Consent is about much more than a simple yes or no. When we deconstruct consent, we discover how to communicate our true desires and stop choosing the things we actually don’t want. Through discussion, movement and partner games, we will build tools to express and negotiate physical desires and set boundaries through the use of practical exercises. This workshop is inclusive and welcoming to individuals of all body sizes, genders, and background. This is a non-sexual workshop, and great, low pressure situation in which to practice communication and touching. It’s as much about how to truly say yes and mean it as it is about saying no! If you have not yet attended a workshop on Consent in the Village, now is the time! This experience will not only help you navigate within the we are village community, but it will also equip you to carry these values into your life. Together, we aim to nurture a consent-centered community with shared values, emphasizing individual responsibility in upholding these principles. Our ultimate goal is to foster healthy relationships and create an inclusive community for a better, more connected future.

The building address is 4450 Bridge Park The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400 You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge. **Abstract** GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise. We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration. Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team. **YouTube Link** TBD

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that. We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wonders…
Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewords…
IMPORTANT:
1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you haven’t come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
