š² Neurodivergent Board & Card Game Meetup š²
**Join us for an afternoon of board games/card games, connection, and fun!**
Location: Zwischenraume, formerly Curious Fabrications https://maps.app.goo.gl/v8tCPcZugTmRq8HN8
Whether you're a seasoned player or completely new to playing games, you're welcome here. Weāll teach you some of our favorites, or you can bring your own game and introduce it to others.
**š What to Expect**
* Weāre passionate about board games and excited to share them with you!
* No experience needed - we'll decide spontaneously which games we'll play depending on the games you bring and then guide you through the rules of games.
We are **happy to help you choose a game** that suits you best. Some games are cooperative, while others are competitiveāso thereās something for everyone!
If you'd like, bring your own board or card game! Just be prepared to explain the rules to new players.
We'll also have an extra silent room for noise sensitive people since some games can be very loud. š
Arriving late? No problem! You may be able to join a game right away or there might be a short wait.
š **Event Guidelines**
⤠**Be kind and respectful**āweāre creating a safe and welcoming space together.

Nerds, Creatives & Dreamers
**Nerds, Creatives & Dreamers** is a small, curated gathering in Berlin for two kinds of people who almost never end up in the same room: the ones who build things with code, and the ones who build things with imagination.
Developers and painters. Engineers and writers. Founders and photographers. In daily life these worlds rarely collide ā here, that collision is the whole point.
Just a good space, a deliberate mix of curious people, and the freedom to let the evening unfold. Come ready to be surprised by who you meet and where the evening takes you. A room full of curious humans. Weāre here to socialize as human beings. And if you do exchange contacts ā make it personal, not transactional.
**š If You Build Things**
Ā· Developers & Engineers
Ā· Designers & Product People
Ā· Founders
Ā· People Who Code for Fun
**šØ If You Create Things**
Ā· Writers & Journalists
Ā· Photographers
Ā· Artists & Painters
Ā· Anyone With a Side Obsession

Blood on the Clocktower at Manifesto! (beginner/intermediate)
Hi folks, this is the meetup group for the weekly Sunday Blood on the Clocktower games in the Soot bar in Manifesto at Potsdamer Platz. We run beginner-friendly and intermediate-level games throughout the afternoon and evening. **Friendly newcomers of all skill levels are welcome, no experience required!**
Our group aims to provide a fun and welcoming space to experience this thrilling game of social deception. **We focus on promoting a positive and fun group atmosphere, where players donāt take themselves or the game too seriously, whether theyāre heroically winning or spectacularly losing.** Our players follow the code of conduct for the Berlin Board Gamers group and are expected to treat each other with respect and consideration ā ākilling with grace, and dying with dignityā.
We are usually able to offer two simultaneous games on Sundays. If you are marked as "attending" in Meetup and are in your seat at 15:00, your place is guaranteed for as long as you want to stay. All other seats are first come, first served. We always run at least one beginner-friendly game of the basic version of Clocktower ("Trouble Brewing") throughout the afternoon and evening. We also usually have enough players for a second intermediate-level game. If you are already very familiar with Clocktower, consider also joining our Tuesday meetup for advanced players, when we play with complex custom scripts and characters.
Blood on the Clocktower is a deep, mechanical game of murder and mystery, lies and logic, deduction and deception⦠think Werewolf on steroids. Each player receives a unique secret role and plays either for the good team ā the uninformed majority, gathering info and working with others to solve the puzzle ā or the evil team, the informed minority, scheming to eliminate good players and protect their demon from execution. In our beginner games no prior experience is expected and we will gladly explain the game rules to any newcomers.
We play in English so players should be able to understand and express themselves in English: an exception is possible for one pair of players willing to play together (as a āRevolutionaryā pair) where one player can interpret into and out of English. Please let us know in advance if this is the case.
We are very grateful to the wonderful folks at Manifesto for hosting our meetup! **Please support the venue during your visit by buying drinks and/or food.**
Boardgames at Social Hub
Enjoy boardgames among a community of passionate people. Discover locals, build teams, collaborate with your opponent to win, but most importantly...
Laugh and have fun... š
Please note that this event is hosted at the Social Hub. We do not own the place so everyone must buy at least 1 drink :)
We hope to see many of you there...
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease.
This walk is a simple reset.
We meet in Berlinās Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment.
No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening.
If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk.
⨠**What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):**
* A short arrival and orientation
* A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation)
* One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress
* Optional reflection in pairs or small groups
* A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life
š¶**Who this is for:**
* Professionals, creatives, and people in transition.
* People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance.
* Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical.
* Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation.
š **Practical notes:**
* Duration: 60-90 minutes
* Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing
* No prior experience needed
* Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused
š§ **Facilitator:**
My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction.
š¤ **Why Chitta Walks?**
Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense.
Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world.
The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it.
šæ **Possible effects:**
A calmer nervous system.
Clearer attention.
A felt sense of being more present in your body.
Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions.
A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city.
**Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

Brancusi & Beeple - Guided Tour + CafƩ
Join us for a guided art morning ā a mix of conversation, discovery, and shared experience.
We'll begin together in the iconic glass foyer of the Neue Nationalgalerie, designed by Mies van der Rohe, where Yuliya will give a guided introduction to both exhibitions before we explore together. Afterwards, we'll head to a nearby cafƩ to relax, share impressions and connect.
This time, we're visiting two exhibitions that couldn't be more different on the surface ā and yet ask surprisingly similar questions about art, perception, and the world we live in.
**Constantin Brancusi** ā one of the founding fathers of modern sculpture ā stripped form down to its purest essence, searching for something timeless in stone and bronze.
**Beeple** (Mike Winkelmann) ā the digital artist who sold an NFT for 69 million dollars ā layers on the chaos of our digital age through AI, robotics and sharp political satire, presenting his first-ever exhibition in Germany right here in Berlin.
What counts as art? Who decides? How does the world around us shape what we see? Two artists, a century apart, both asking the same things.
š¼ļø About the Exhibitions
**Brancusi** is one of the most important retrospectives of the season ā a rare opportunity to encounter his sculptures, drawings and photographs in depth, tracing his lifelong obsession with reducing form to its essential truth.
**Beeple. Regular Animals** is an interactive robotic installation making its German debut. Autonomous robot dogs roam the space, each wearing a hyperrealistic silicon head modelled after a global figure ā Elon Musk, Zuckerberg, Bezos, Warhol, Picasso. They scan the room, process what they see through AI, and print out images which you can take home for free. A pointed, witty comment on algorithms, power and how technology shapes our perception.
š Agenda
šØ Guided Introduction: We meet in the main foyer at 12:00 for a guided talk by Yuliya ā no slides, just conversation ā setting the context for both exhibitions before we go in together. š¼ļø Exhibition Visit: We explore Brancusi and Beeple at our own pace, with Yuliya on hand throughout.
ā Post-visit cafĆ©: We finish at a nearby cafĆ© to share impressions and connect.

⨠The experience is curated and guided by Yuliya, founder of Berlin Ladies Art Culture ā a growing community of over 2,000 women passionate about art, culture, and meaningful connection.
With a background bridging hospitality, real estate, and creative studies, Yuliya has lived in Ukraine, France, China, and now Berlin. Over the years, she has deepened her passion for art through studies and experiences ā from the Louvre School in Paris to the University of the Arts London, from workshops at the UniversitƤt der Künste in Berlin to curatorial programs during the Venice Biennale, and most recently completing studies at Sotheby's Institute of Art in London.
Today, she curates experiences that blend art history, conversation, and exploration ā always with the goal of making culture feel alive, shared, and inspiring.
MAKE YOUR MOVIE CHALLENGE: Short Films Screening
Please RSVP, so we have an idea about the size of the audience. We expect about 100 people. This is not our typical meetup. This is the screening of our [MAKE YOUR MOVE CHALLENGE](https://movienerds.com/movie-challenge). Eight weeks have flown by: writing, shooting, editing, problem-solving, and pushing through creative chaos. Now itās time to watch those creations together.
Expect a mix of genres, styles, experiments, first attempts, surprising ideas, and personal stories. Some films are polished, some are rough around the edges and all of them were actually made in the course of 8 weeks!
Whether you joined the challenge, love indie filmmaking, or just want to spend an evening with creative people and original short films, youāre welcome.

Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations.
If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!).
**HOW IT WORKS**
**Step 1: Bring a topic**
Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event.
**Step 2: Circle up & share**
We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds.
**Step 3: Walk, talk & float**
We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!"
**Step 4: Feel more alive**
Two hours flies by. You're back where you started ā but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times.
*For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)*
**HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC**
A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about.
Recent topics include:
* "What are you passionate about right now?"
* "What makes a good friend?"
* "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?"
* "How do you want to be remembered?"
* "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?"
Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter.
**WHAT TO EXPECT**
This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.*
But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here.
**FAQ**
* Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk!
* We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space.
* We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space.
* Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know.
* Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome ā please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic!
**LOGISTICS**
* If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event.
* This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). This format works best when the whole group moves in unison. If you have mobility limitations, we kindly encourage you to find an event better suited to your needs.
* There's a restroom along the route at [Tuttle Park Community Center](https://maps.app.goo.gl/KTZJgLE1CrrbRNmJ7), which is about twoāthirds of the way from [Clinton-Como Park](https://maps.app.goo.gl/z8Cx8evwLiWundMe8) to our [turnback point](https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZXk7qUVszLQ8EJxHA).
* Read our [Orientation Guide](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation) for full details.
* If you enjoy the event, send **[this](http://www.theboardwalks.com/)** to a friend or sign up for our **[newsletter](https://theboardwalks.beehiiv.com/)**. We're in multiple cities with more on the way. š¤ š

Data & Analytics Wednesday - Mapping and Dashboards
**Total Eclipse of the Chart: School Redistricting Dashboards**
In this presentation, we will explore the utilization of maps, sets, and SQL within a Tableau dashboard to help provide āwhat-ifā analyses generated through the use of a mapped dashboard, providing different scenarios and the potential implications of these.
While in this use case we are focused on a large school district, the concepts of utilizing existing data to explore the future impacts of modifying different geographic boundaries can be useful to many industries, balancing the mix of maps with visual analytics.

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
ā©We started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that.
We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
ā©Feel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
ā©Here are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
ā©Tabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wondersā¦
ā©Social deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewordsā¦
ā©IMPORTANT:
ā©1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
ā©2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you havenāt come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.
