**The direction is set. Now let's build.** Our first session shaped what this group is about, now we get to see it in action. A member is showing off a real project: what they built, what broke, and what surprised them. Then we open it up: Q&A, war stories, and a honest conversation about the tools, lessons, and struggles we're all running into. Come ready to dig in and share. Before you arrive, **sign up for our newsletter** to stay in the loop on session recaps, resources, and upcoming events: [Future-Club](https://future-club.org) Show up ready to contribute. šŸ”„ See you there! šŸ‘‹

Ask Female Founders: Women* Wanted: How to Pitch to Specialized VC Funds
Ask Female Founders: Women* Wanted: How to Pitch to Specialized VC Funds
Only 1% of Venture Capital reaches all-female teams. Nina Wƶss is on a mission to change that. ### Gender-diverse and and all-female startups receive just 9% of all venture capital according to the latest Female Founders Monitor 2025 published by Start-Up Verband Germany and Bertelsmann Stiftung in 2025. These numbers have not changed much in the last 10 years. New ideas are needed to change a system that is not leveraging all its potential. Creating new specialized venture funds is one solution. In this session, Nina Wƶss—Managing Partner of the VC Fund F tells us what motivated her to found a venture capital fund specializing in gender-diverse founders only. Fund F writes cheques of up to EUR 600k, acts as lead investor, and brings an active follow-on policy—backed by a team of entrepreneurs, investors, and operators who provide hands-on support and connections to their portfolio companies. Nina will also pull back the curtain on how VCs actually think and what they look for. She previously founded the Female Founders Community with 83.000 members all over Europe and is a leading figure in Austria’s VC Scene. #### šŸ’” What you will learn * What **VC funds in general and Fund F** in particular **looks for in early-stage startups** and how to get on their radar * Why **gender-diverse teams outperform** all-male teams * **Concrete steps** you can take today to **strengthen your fundraising position** This event is brought to you by **SIBB Incubator**, who supports founders building the future of cybersecurity, trustworthy AI, and deep tech. #### šŸ§‘šŸ»ā€šŸ« Speaker **Nina Wƶss - *Managing Partner, Fund F*** * **Founder** and **Managing Partner** of **Fund F**, Austria's first VC fund specifically for female and gender-diverse founding teams * **Co-founder** of **Female Founders Global** (since 2016), one of Europe's largest communities for female entrepreneurs * **Former Principal** at **Speedinvest** * **Former COO** at **AVCO** (Austrian Private Equity & Venture Capital Organisation) * MSc in **Strategic Management**, WU Vienna * **Active in the startup ecosystem** since 2012 ***Moderated by: Etta Dannemann in her role as head coach.*** Etta Dannemann moderates the event in her role as Startup Coach at the SIBB Incubator. As a solopreneur, trainer, and architect by education, she loves creating new things — but even more, supporting others as they build and grow. Etta is passionate about empowering women in tech, helping them turn their ideas into action and leave their unique mark on the world. #### šŸŽÆ Who is this event for * **Gender diverse teams** and **female founders** who are preparing a **funding round** * Anyone who wants to **understand** **how VCs think** * **Startup ecosystem** professionals, accelerator participants, and/or incubator members We look forward to seeing you! Come with your questions, and an appetite for honest answers about the funding landscape.

Neurodivergent Workshop with Futurium: What the future holds
Neurodivergent Workshop with Futurium: What the future holds
This interactive workshop offers participants a unique opportunity to actively engage with and reflect upon the possibilities of tomorrow. **Organized in collaboration with [Futurium](https://futurium.de/en)**[,](https://futurium.de/en) the session is designed to be participatory, blending reflection, discussion, and creative hands-on activities. **Location:** **[Futurium](https://maps.app.goo.gl/uqRAq7npeFKubvbu5)**, see the workshop room on the map attached in this event. šŸ“ø We will be documenting the event. However, we will fully anonymize all participants by covering faces with stickers in the final media. If you’d prefer not to be in any shot at all, you are welcome to step away briefly during those moments. **What to expect:** * **Introduction (approx. 20 minutes)** We begin with a journey into the past—examining historical postcards from the 19th and early 20th centuries that depict imagined futures. Participants are invited to explore and discuss these images together, considering what feels surprising, what turned out to be accurate, and how past visions compare to the technologies we know today. **Optionally,** we will also screen a short video featuring young people from 1966 sharing their predictions for the year 2000—offering an additional prompt for reflecting on how future visions are shaped by their historical and cultural context. * **Interactive Exchange (approx. 20 minutes)** Next, participants take part in a guided ā€œopinion swapā€ exercise using prompt cards. This dynamic format encourages movement, discussion, and the exchange of diverse perspectives within the group—making space for a wide range of voices and viewpoints. * **Creative Activity (approx. 20 minutes)** To close, the group will collaborate on designing an ā€œobject from the future.ā€ This hands-on exercise invites participants to imagine possible developments and express their ideas creatively—turning abstract speculation into tangible, shared visions. **About the Organizers:** This workshop is organized by[ Futurium](https://futurium.de/en) in collaboration with the Berlin Neurodivergent Community. Please keep in mind that all of berlin neurodivegrent community organizers are neurodivergent volunteers who contribute their time, energy, and resources to make this event possible. We kindly ask for your patience, kindness, and mutual respect throughout the session—we are here to learn, share, and create together in a supportive environment. We look forward to welcoming you and exploring the future—together!

Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks - Awareness in Motion
Chitta Walks is for people whose days move fast, while the mind never fully lands. Thoughts keep looping even when nothing is urgent. The body moves, but attention is elsewhere. Over time, this disconnect drains clarity and ease. This walk is a simple reset. We meet in Berlin’s Tiergarten and walk at a gentle pace. Parts of the walk are in silence, with light guidance and a few short prompts. The walk itself is the practice, bringing body and mind back into the same moment. No apps. No performance. Just a clear space to slow down and notice what is happening. If you want to slow down without withdrawing from life, join a Chitta Walk. ✨ **What to expect (approx. 90 minutes):** * A short arrival and orientation * A guided silent walk (phones off, no conversation) * One concise science-based impulse on attention or stress * Optional reflection in pairs or small groups * A simple takeaway or experiment for daily life 🚶**Who this is for:** * Professionals, creatives, and people in transition. * People who feel mentally busy and want more clarity and balance. * Those curious about mindfulness, but grounded and practical. * Anyone comfortable with silence and gentle self observation. šŸ”” **Practical notes:** * Duration: 60-90 minutes * Wear comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing * No prior experience needed * Group size is limited to keep the space quiet and focused 🧭 **Facilitator:** My name is Partha Sarathi, you can call me PS. I have lived in Berlin for over 12 years. With a background in physics and materials science, my interest in mindfulness grew through personal experience with stress and health challenges. I facilitate the space and structure of the walk, inviting shared exploration rather than instruction. šŸ¤” **Why Chitta Walks?** Chitta is a Sanskrit word referring to the mind or field of awareness, used here in a practical, non-religious sense. Chitta Walks is about noticing how the mind works by slowing down and walking together. Mindful walking makes thought patterns visible in real time, while moving and sensing in the world. The name points to a simple capacity: noticing what is happening in the mind without immediately trying to fix, judge, or optimize it. 🌿 **Possible effects:** A calmer nervous system. Clearer attention. A felt sense of being more present in your body. Subtle insights into how your mind reacts under everyday conditions. A quieter, more grounded way of moving through the city. **Come as you are. Walk. Notice. Leave with a little more space inside.**

Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
Walk & Talk About Life's Big Questions
[The Board Walks](http://www.theboardwalks.com/) are for curious people who love deep conversations. If that sounds like you, **bring a thoughtful topic** and join us for a 5-mile walk (10,000+ steps!). **HOW IT WORKS** **Step 1: Bring a topic** Before you arrive, think of **one** topic you want to explore. A question. A thought that's been on your mind. An obsession you want to geek out on. This is your ticket to the event. **Step 2: Circle up & share** We gather in a circle. Your friendly walk host gives a speech to set the tone. Everyone shares: your name, what you're grateful for, and your topic. That's it. 60 seconds. **Step 3: Walk, talk & float** We walk 5 miles. You naturally drift into conversation with 2-3 people at a time, pulled by topics that spark your curiosity. When you're ready to move on, just say: "I'm going to float!" **Step 4: Feel more alive** Two hours flies by. You're back where you started — but you feel different. More alive. More energized. More connected to yourself and others. That's why regulars join 20+ times. *For more details, read our [Orientation Guide.](https://www.theboardwalks.com/orientation)* **HOW TO BRING A GREAT TOPIC** A great topic = something you're genuinely curious about. Recent topics include: * "What are you passionate about right now?" * "What makes a good friend?" * "What's a belief you used to hold that you've completely changed?" * "How do you want to be remembered?" * "What would you do if money wasn't a factor?" Think of your topic like the dish you're bringing to our conversational potluck. If everyone brings an A+ dish (i.e. energizing, uplifting, expansive), we'll all walk away feeling lighter and brighter. **WHAT TO EXPECT** This isn't a fitness event with casual chitchat. It's a walking think tank where we explore life's big questions together, beyond small talk. *If you're looking for light banter or a standard networking event, this probably isn't the right fit.* But if you crave depth, genuine connection, and conversations that make you feel alive? You'll love it here. **FAQ** * Wear casual athletic attire and sneakers. It's a long walk! * We have multiple first-timers at each event. We work hard to create a welcoming, inclusive, clique-free space. * We welcome people of **all** ages, backgrounds, and industries who align with the [intention](https://www.theboardwalks.com/ground-rules) of this space. * Rain or shine, we've been out here nearly every week since July 2022. If the event is cancelled, we'll let you know. * Dogs, babies in strollers, parents, and friends are welcome — please text/email them the event link so they can RSVP and prepare a topic! **LOGISTICS** * If you'll arrive over 10 minutes late, we suggest skipping the event. It's hard to find us once we start walking, and your host can't answer messages during the event. * This walk is designed for everyone to *move together at the same steady pace* (about 20 min/mile). You can sleep in on the Sesquicentennial (observed), we’re shifting to the following Friday. But join the local UX community for a chat and some biscuits to catch up. If you were in CA for Figma Config, tell us all the lines and you can tell me how I can animate an SVG without coding it by hand, and why I’d even want to. Thanks to the team at Nationwide of supporting the group.
