Attendance: We’ve noticed that the waitlist is growing, so please make sure your name is on the Going list if you plan to play. Our number of nets is limited so this helps avoid too many rotations. If your name is on the list but you don’t show up, it will count as an absence according to Smiley Social rules. Please update your RSVP at least 12 hours in advance if your plans change. 1. Injuries: Play safely and be mindful of others on the court. Respect positions and avoid risky moves that could lead to injury. If you’re not sure the ball is yours, call it before going for it to avoid collisions. 1. Game Rules: Let’s follow the basic volleyball rules, especially the three-touch rule so we can play properly and improve as a team! 1. Waitlist: The waitlist is not first come first serve. This event is for volleyball beginners who want an opportunity to practice, play, and gain experience in a relaxed, low pressure environment. Whether you're trying volleyball for the first time or still developing confidence in the basics, you'll find this event welcoming, supportive, and beginner-friendly. Level: Beginners Cost: Free Field Type: Outdoor grass Format: 6x6 The focus will be on getting 3 touches on the ball, learning through play, and having fun with others who are also new to the game. Open play up to 18 people, all skill levels. Bring your friends or potential new members, bring a BBQ, (we have a lot of BBQ’s over the summer) your dog and cat, your good times and your laughter too.

🌊🇺🇸 Rehoboth Beach July 4th Weekend Meetup 🇺🇸🌊 Escape the city and celebrate Independence Day at beautiful Rehoboth Beach, Delaware! Join us for a fun-filled beach day packed with volleyball, good food, ocean views, boardwalk adventures, and fireworks with great company. Whether you’re coming to spike volleyballs, relax in the sun, grab amazing seafood, or just enjoy the holiday atmosphere, this meetup is all about having a great time and meeting awesome people. 📍 Location: Rehoboth Beach, DE 📅 Date: Saturday, July 4th ⏰ Tentative Itinerary: 10:00 AM – Meet at the Beach We’ll set up near the volleyball nets and beach area. Look for the group banner/towels. 🥞 Brunch Options (Choose Your Favorite): • Egg – Known for creative brunch dishes and great coffee • The Point Coffee House & Bake Shoppe – Relaxed local favorite • Rise Up Coffee – Excellent coffee and breakfast sandwiches • Sunny Bay Cafe – Big portions and beach-town breakfast vibes 🏐 12:00 PM – Beach Volleyball & Games Casual volleyball for all skill levels. Bring water, sunscreen, and beach gear. 🌊 Afternoon Activities: • Boardwalk walk & shopping • Swimming & relaxing on the beach • Bike rentals around town • Arcade games at Funland • Ice cream stops and beach bars • Optional paddleboarding/kayaking 🍹 Happy Hour / Chill Break: Grab drinks or snacks at one of the oceanfront spots while watching the beach crowd and holiday energy. 🍽️ Dinner Recommendations: • Bluecoast Seafood Grill – Fresh seafood and coastal favorites • Dogfish Head Brewings & Eats – Great food and local craft beer • Salt Air Kitchen – Trendy American coastal cuisine • Henlopen City Oyster House – Excellent oysters and seafood • The Cultured Pearl – Sushi and rooftop atmosphere 🎆 Evening Fireworks We’ll end the night watching the July 4th fireworks near the beach and boardwalk. This volleyball game is for BB/A or higher level players. Everyone will be on waitlist first and one day before the game I will move players in.
