We are gathering to talk about whatever science fiction, new and old, got us excited lately! What was the last novel you read? Is there any blockbuster you look forward to? What's good on streaming? Games, creative writing, comic books, novels, cinema, anything goes. A table will be booked on the organizer's name (Carlos). The available seats will be limited: please confirm if you are attending, or cancel on time if you can't come. If you confirm, it means a seat was booked for you. If this is your first meetup with this group: There is no fixed subject or theme, just feel free to discuss whatever you would like to share about anything Science Fiction. The lingua franca is English, as it is the language we all have in common. However we also switch languages, whenever convenient. We look forward to meeting you. We have a closed chat group on WhatsApp. If you would like to join, please PM the organizer to receive the invitation link. See you soon!

ZH3 Hash # 1715: As yet unnamed (Social Running/Walking/Drinking)
Hare (someone to set the route) is Just Beggin' for it. Come join us! **Where**: See location. Typically within Zurich Zone 10. Look for English speakers wearing running gear. **When:** We'll meet at 6:50 pm to start at 7:00 pm. There's a charge of CHF 5 for participating, which covers all you can drink beer/cider (and non-alcoholic alternatives) plus snacks afterwards. **All Welcome:** If you are new, curious, and want to get out of the house, stretch your legs, talk shit, enjoy a drink, and hopefully a laugh, then here's what you need to know: • We are a social running/walking group, physical fitness is not required, but a sense of humour is useful. • The aim is to find the '*Beer Stop*' at the end of the '*trail*' and have fun. • 'True Trail' is typically 4-7 km. Some will go less (especially those walking or walk/running), and some over-achieving fast runners will go further. • The '*Hare*', which changes each event (along with location), cleverly lays the trail (typically with flour marks) so that everyone reaches the end at the same time. • There is always a place to deposit your bag and sometimes a place to change. • **After Trail**, we group for \~20-40 minutes for drinks, snacks, and some fun. This '*Circle*' is typically outside, so leave something warm in your bag in winter (and bring a flashlight when it's dark). If you don't want to stand around drinking afterwards, you can head home. We occasionally all go to a restaurant afterwards. **Why bother leaving your warm & dry sofa?** If you enjoy getting outside, being around people, and doing something a bit different, you will probably enjoy hashing. Exercise is important, and this is probably the least boring way to get it. 'Hashing' and the idea of some physical activity to work up a thirst, have been around for almost 90 years and there are groups (*Hashes*) in most major cities. Its humor and 'traditions' can be explored on the internet - **or you can just come along and find out.** *See you there.* We are of many nationalities, all ages, full of misfits and idiots (at least there is no one taking themselves seriously!) and always welcome newbies 'Virgin Hashers' and visitors from other groups. Randalls Island Waterfront Walk - New Members Welcome!
Randalls Island Waterfront Walk - New Members Welcome!
New to the Appalachian Mountain Club? Looking to connect with other folks who love getting outdoors? Come meet new AMC friends on a walk around Randalls Island! Explore the beauty of the city by walking a circuit around Randalls and Wards Islands. Enjoy the river views, bridge views, and extraordinary Manhattan and Queens skylines. My favorite experience is walking across the Salt Marshes and under the Hell Gate Bridge. We'll walk at a leisurely pace on paved terrain for about 5 miles with little elevation gain, stopping at points of interest. Wear comfortable walking shoes and warm clothes in case a cold wind blows across the water. If you are new to the AMC, this is a great starter event! New and existing members, as well as prospective members are welcome!! Meet at 11:00am at the Randalls Island side of the 103rd Street pedestrian bridge. If you're coming from Manhattan, you're welcome to join the leaders at 10:30am on the Manhattan side of the 103rd Street bridge (and and Bobby Wagner Walk). Randalls Island can also be reached by pedestrian walkways along the RFK Bridge crossings, as well as the M60 SBS and M35 buses from Harlem. Reiki Weight Loss Energy Transmission
Reiki Weight Loss Energy Transmission
I will be sending out an Energy Transmission every Sunday at 10PM! This energy is fabulous for losing weight, relaxing, balancing, and working on the adrenal glands, and all of the organs and glands, and can help with appetite and cravings, and also sleep, which is so good for your health and for your weight! You can do this from your own favorite spot, either your bed, couch, floor, chair, or wherever. All you need to do is nothing! You can set an intention to receive the energies, sent by Jae, and if you want to you can ask for a wish, and ask for something you want to release. I usually ask to release something I'm craving that's not healthy for me, and it usually works. If you think this is something you want to try, then please RSVP, and I will send you the energies, and answer any questions you may have. Good nutrition is the core to weight loss and good health, along with exercise, and good Energy Nutrition is important as well. Hope to see you at the next Challenge! Hope you'll join me tonight! All the very best, Jae (Enerjae)
