When the Word Becomes Co-Creation: Replacing the work, not the worker
Join us on June 15th for the 10th Trustworthy AI Community Meetup in Luxembourg, hosted by the **SnT research center** in collaboration with **Cloud Security Alliance (CSA) Luxembourg Chapter**.
In addition to guided networking at the end, the event will feature a session dedicate to **When the Word Becomes Co-Creation: Replacing the work, not the worker.**
We are at a turning point where artificial intelligence is moving from a passive tool we chat with into an active participant we delegate tasks to. Today, our language is no longer just communication - it is the direct catalyst for action.
But as these systems become capable of generating outcomes much faster than we can manually review them, we face a profoundly human challenge: how do we maintain trust and control? If we rely on these tools blindly, we risk letting the algorithms subtly steer our judgment, as they are naturally inclined to be compliant and simply mirror our own flawed assumptions back to us.
In this session, we will explore the human side of Trustworthy AI. We will discuss why the true promise of these systems lies in elevating human potential, how to cultivate a dynamic of genuine co-creation where the AI acts as a collaborative partner that challenges our assumptions, and the ways to confidently shift our trust from overseeing daily actions to orchestrating broader, more impactful outcomes.
Whether you are a manager, developer, creator, or an everyday consumer, join us to discover how to actively cooperate with AI today. We will discuss how to secure your position as the orchestrator of this technology, ensuring it empowers your decisions rather than overriding them.
Our guest speaker for this talk is [Dr. Evgeny Zotov](https://www.linkedin.com/in/ezotov/). Evgeny is an Applied AI Architect and automation enthusiast with extensive experience in artificial intelligence, machine learning, large language models, and data-driven systems.
He is currently a Research Associate at the Interdisciplinary Centre for Security, Reliability and Trust at the University of Luxembourg, where he works on research projects with government and industrial partners. His work focuses on designing and implementing AI solutions across sectors such as finance, manufacturing, and healthcare.
Before joining the University of Luxembourg, Evgeny worked as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Sheffield, where he applied statistical modelling, prediction techniques, and machine learning to manufacturing process optimization, and contributed to healthcare technology through the development of JointCalc, a patient decision-support tool. Prior to his research career, he spent nearly a decade at Accenture, progressing from intern to team lead and leading data warehouse, mobile banking, and enterprise application projects for major banking clients, building strong expertise in application architecture, data systems, automation, and software delivery.
His perspective bridges advanced AI research and real-world business applications, making him a valuable voice on the evolving role of AI across industries.

Bertrange Autopedestre extended (13km)
Hello Friends!
This time, we're going to explore a forest I've seen many times from the balcony of a dear friend during his legendary house parties, and I've always wondered whether there's a good hiking trail.
Today I looked that place up, and indeed, there's one:
Bertrange Autopedestre. No idea whether it's a new AP or whether I just did not see it before, but let's check it out, hiking boots on the ground! đ„Ÿđ„Ÿ
I've added an experimental part, to get to an adequate distance.
After around 8km, there is a spot that looks suitable for our lunch break.
8km, Beatrice, not before!
**Meeting Point:**
We will meet near the bus stop "City Concorde", in Bertrange/Helfent, and we will start right after the bus arrives.
https://maps.app.goo.gl/Lug56zn6Ywy8zEYc9
**Public Transport:**
You can take Bus 6 from "Hamilius", leaving at 10:36, towards "Bertrange Gemeng".
**Carpool:**
If you can offer a seat or look for one, here's the link to the carpool:
https://groupcarpool.com/t/sy9f4d
There should be plenty of parking available on the City Concorde parking lot.
**Please note:**
It's tick season. Be careful, use some repellent product, and check yourself after the hike.
As usual, the hike is at your own risk, and please take enough water for yourself.
Looking forward to hiking with you!

Das Ende der Code-Ăra: Domain Modeling & Harness Engineering
**Um was geht es dieses mal?**
**Das Ende der Code-Ăra: Warum Domain Modeling & Harness Engineering die wichtigsten Skills 2026 sind. - Benjamin Font Pera (codecentric)**

The building address is 4450 Bridge Park
The entrance is 6620 Mooney St, Suite 400
You will need to scan your ID at the door to get a visitor badge.
**Abstract**
*Customize the IDE: Building Extensions for Visual Studio Code*
Visual Studio Code is one of the most widely used development environments today, and much of its flexibility comes from its extension ecosystem. Extensions allow developers to customize the editor with new features, integrations, and workflow improvements tailored to their needs.
In this session, weâll cover what extensions are and the different types available, including full extensions written in TypeScript or JavaScript, along with lighter-weight extensions such as color themes, language packs, language support, code snippets, and keymaps. Weâll also look at practical reasons a developer might create an extension, from automating repetitive tasks to adding custom tooling.
The session includes a hands-on walkthrough of creating a new extension, testing it locally, and understanding the basic project structure. Weâll close with a brief overview of how extensions are packaged and published to the Visual Studio Marketplace and other distribution options.

Battle of the personal agents
Join the Columbus AI community for a special event.
**Battle of the Personal Agents** is your chance to see what people are actually building with AI agents and personal automation systems. Whether youâre running OpenClaw, Hermes, or a completely custom solution, bring your agent and show the community how it works.
Weâre interested in real-world implementations: the problems your agent solves, how you use it day-to-day, how itâs hosted and managed, how you built it, and why youâve chosen to keep using it. Live demonstrations are encouraged, so be prepared to show your code, architecture, workflows, and your agent performing real tasks.
This is less about polished presentations and more about sharing practical experience, comparing approaches, and learning from one another. If youâd like to present, please contact Chris Slee (via meetup) before the event so we can allocate enough time for everyoneâs demonstrations.
Come ready to show what youâve built, discover what others are doing, and maybe find a few ideas worth taking home.
Whether youâre deep in the field or just getting curious, come connect with others building and exploring AI in Columbus.

AI Agents 101: How to Make ChatGPT Do Actual Work
Most people still use AI like a search box: type one question, get one answer, repeat.
But the next step is AI agents: systems that can take a goal, break it into steps, use tools, remember context, and produce useful work for a human to review.
In this beginner-friendly session, weâll demystify what AI agents actually are â without hype or jargon. Weâll walk through practical examples of how agents can help with research, planning, writing, coding, operations, and personal productivity.
Weâll cover:
* What makes an AI âagentâ instead of just a chatbot
* How agents break tasks into steps
* Where agents are genuinely useful today
* Where they fail, hallucinate, or need human review
* How to design simple AI workflows for your own work
* A live demo of an AI agent-style workflow from start to finish
No coding experience required. This is for anyone who wants to understand where AI tools are going and how to use them more effectively right now.
LOGISTICS AND PARKING:
The talk starts at 7:00 PM. The first half hour is reserved for everyone to get set up and mingle. Free pizza and drinks!
The cheapest parking option is to find street parking, which will only cost you a few bucks. Otherwise, park in the nearby veteran's museum lot for $8. It's highly recommended you avoid the nearby $15 garage parking.
