The Most Native Kubernetes App
Hej Gophers,
unser nächstes Treffen wird am Dienstag, 14. April stattfinden.

Hello Gophers!
Our next meeting will take place on Tuesday, 14 April. We are delighted to welcome [Lukas Nagel](https://github.com/lukasngl/) from [MeKo Manufacturing](http://www.meko.de/) with the topic "The Most Native Kubernetes App". The talk will be German.
What if we only had the Kubernetes cluster at our disposal? We'll develop a ToDo app using only Kubernetes' bulit-in tools, demonstrate why this isn't a good idea, and show how these patterns can be used to implement useful operators.
We will meet at 6 pm at [enercity](https://www.enercity.de/). The talk starts at 6:30pm. Afterwards, we want to chat about technologies and experiences, learn from each other, socialise and simply have a great time together.
[enercity](https://www.enercity.de/) is sponsoring the catering - thank you very much! There will be plenty of drinks and we plan to order pizza.
**Please note for on-site participation:**
* **Registration** for the MeetUp event must be completed by **6 pm** on **Monday, 13th April 2026**.
* A **full name** is required for entry into the building to register with security. If not already stated in the registration form, please send your full name to one of the organisers, Anna, Mark or Sebastian ‘Mo’, in a private message by the registration deadline.

**Wichtig - Absage bitte rechtzeitig:**

📢 Welcome to our next Lux Finance Circle meetup!
Everyone has a number. A savings target. An amount that would mean they never have to worry about money again. The problem is, almost nobody actually knows what their number is.
Most people invest without a clear target. They contribute to their brokerage account, pick some ETFs, and hope it works out. But hope is not a strategy. Without knowing how much is enough, you can't know if you're saving too little, taking too much risk, or even if you're on track at all.
This session is an open discussion about the math behind financial independence. Not the Instagram version. The real version: how to calculate what you actually need, what assumptions go into that calculation, and what most people get wrong usually, by throwing numbers around.
🧭 Format of the Event
This is a casual, discussion-based gathering with no long presentations. We'll sit around the table, and your host Romain will kick things off with a short introduction covering:
* Why "save as much as you can" is not a real plan
* The key variables that determine whether you'll reach financial independence (and which ones you can actually control)
* How small changes in your assumptions can dramatically shift your timeline
* The most common mistakes people make when projecting their financial future
From there, we open the floor for discussion. Bring your questions, your assumptions, and your curiosity.
Recommended Preparation
Before the event, think about this: if someone asked you today "how much money do you need to never worry about money again?", could you give a confident answer? And if so, how did you arrive at that number?
👥 Who Can Join?
Everyone is welcome. This discussion will be especially valuable if you are:
* An investor who contributes regularly but has never calculated a concrete target for financial independence.
* Someone who has used online calculators or rules of thumb (like "25x your expenses") but isn't sure those numbers apply to your situation in Luxembourg.
* A professional who wants to move from "I hope this is enough" to "I know exactly where I stand."
📌 Practical Info
* 🗓️ Date: Tuesday, April 14th, 2026 at 18:30 (you can also arrive later).
* 🗣️ Language: The event will be in English.
* 📍 Location: Hotel Le Place d'Armes (18 Place d'Armes, Luxembourg). The bar is hidden at the back. Ask at reception for directions if you are unsure.
* 🍻 Drinks: Drinks are self-paid at the venue bar.
* 👥 Limited Seats: Please RSVP so we can manage space.

AI & Coffee - In-Person Meetup in Luxembourg
⚡ **AI & Coffee — Luxembourg's In-Person AI Community**
AI is moving faster than any of us can keep up with alone. The best way to make sense of it — and stay ahead of it — is by getting in the same room as people who are just as obsessed with it as you are.
That is exactly what AI & Coffee is about.
We are bringing together Luxembourg's most curious, creative and driven minds for an afternoon of open, honest and energising conversations about artificial intelligence — not in theory, but in practice. No slides. No pitches. No pressure. Just real people, real ideas and real connections over great coffee. ☕🤖

* Tools, projects and experiments people are building and testing
* Practical AI use cases across industries — finance, marketing, tech, healthcare and more
* Ideas, feedback and fresh perspectives from people at different stages of their AI journey
Feel free to bring your laptop if you want to show something you are working on. Some of the best conversations at our last event started with someone sharing their screen. 💡

**⚡ AI & Coffee – In-Person Meetup in Metz**
Since the community has been growing very fast in Luxembourg 🇱🇺, Vienna 🇦🇹, Bucharest 🇷🇴 and Belgrade 🇷🇸 we’re hosting now also events in Metz 🇫🇷!
Join our in-person event on Saturday, 18 April from 15h00-17h00 in Les 3 lumières [65 Place St Louis, 57000 Metz, France](https://www.google.com/maps/place//data=!4m2!3m1!1s0x4794ddfb97809c5f:0xa3fbaf4da6636c4d?sa=X&ved=1t:8290&ictx=111).
During the first part of the event, we will all gather in a circle/square format and introduce ourselves for 1–2 minutes. This gives everyone the opportunity to share who they are, what they do, and what they are looking for, while also getting to know the entire room by listening to others do the same. This has proven to be the most effective way to network with 15–30 people within one hour, and afterwards it allows you to connect more easily with those who sparked your interest.
The introduction round is the most exciting part of the event, so please try to arrive a bit early to avoid missing the start 😊👆
Based on the great feedbacks, feel free to bring also your laptops if you’d like to show your work. People were very open to sharing approaches and projects, which sparked some truly deep conversations.
AI is moving so fast that it’s hard to keep up alone. The best way to make sense of it is by meeting others, exchanging ideas, and hearing fresh perspectives. That’s what this meetup is about.
\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-\-
☕ We’ll gather in a local café for open conversations about:
* AI news and trends (what’s real, what’s hype)
* Sharing projects, ideas, and feedback
* Supporting each other and creating new stories
* Building connections with like-minded people
👥 **Who’s welcome?**
Developers, entrepreneurs, investors, mentors, students, researchers, creatives — and anyone simply curious about AI.
💡 **What to expect**
* Casual atmosphere, no commitment, no pressure
* The host will share small icebreakers and sparks of AI news
* The rest is up to you: meet, talk, connect, and exchange
🎉 The only cost is your own coffee or drink. Bring your curiosity and an open mind — and let’s build one of the most exciting AI communities in the area.
Looking forward to meeting you all and building the AI&Coffee Metz community together.
How to build confidence in your website's sustainability credentials
The web is at the heart of our every day lives and we understand now it has enormous sustainability impacts. So what do we do as practitioners, teams and businesses building individual websites or apps? How do we have full confidence that our tech meets our sustainability claims?
Adam Newman, Co-founder of Root & Branch is going to address these questions, demystify vendor claims and add some clarity to what it means to build, host and manage a sustainable web estate.
Adam is the co-chair of the Green Software Foundation's "SCI for web" project, writing the spec for how to apply the latest ISO standard (ISO 21031:2024) to the web as well as the co-author of a paper on the energy and emissions measurement of websites and cloud applications. He is also a contributer to the W3C Web Sustainability Guidelines and a proud co-organiser of Green Software Brighton.
Check out the Green Software Brighton [website](https://greensoftwarebrighton.co.uk/) for links to previous talks.
Arrive from 18:00 for pizza and drinks. Event will start at 18:30. We always head for a drink and a chat locally afterwards too.

The Tag Lab: Workshop your jokes with Erin Crouch
**You’re already getting up on stage. You’re writing. You’re performing. You’re grinding it out at mics.**
But if you’re honest… some of those jokes could hit harder.
Welcome to **The Tag Lab**, an accelerated, punch-up intensive designed specifically for comics who are past the “how do I hold a mic?” phase and ready to level up their material.
This workshop zeroes in on the two things that separate solid jokes from killer bits:
**1\. Finding the true kernel of your joke**
We’ll strip your material down to its comedic engine, the sharpest, funniest core idea, and rebuild from there.
**2\. Writing tags that stack laughs**
Because one punchline is nice.
Three punchlines? That’s applause breaks.
You’ll learn how to:
* Identify where your joke is ending too early
* Add tags that feel organic, not bolted on
* Heighten patterns without losing clarity
* Tighten wording so every syllable earns its place
This is not a beginner class. It’s for comics who are already performing regularly and want their existing material to punch above its weight.
Bring jokes that are “pretty good.”
Leave with jokes that consistently hit.
If you’re ready to stop hoping for laughs and start engineering them, this workshop is for you.
Participation is by advanced registration. Places are limited. [Book your spot here.](https://fienta.com/taglabfestrogen)

Standing-up to impostor syndrome: mental health in comedy
**Do you want to step up to the stage with more confidence, and less self-doubt? Are you looking to be in charge of your**
**thoughts, emotions and behaviours? This workshop has just the answer.**
Going up on stage and exposing yourself (pun intended) can be very scary. But also very empowering. And also triggering. But also liberating. And can for sure bring on some self-doubt:
Am I good enough?
Why should anyone listen to me?
Doesn't everyone else know more than me?
Isn’t everyone else funnier?
And when you get of the stage, the questions keep popping in your head: “was it good?”, “I should have said it differently”, “what was I thinking?”, “were those pity laughs?”
Your inner critic is always hard at work…
A lot of emotions come up when doing stand-up. No matter if you are a beginner or a more experienced comedian, it can still bring about the dread of not being good enough, making a fool of yourself, and confirming your worst fears.
But, it can also be a brilliant and almost therapeutic way to overcome self-doubt, self-sabotage, gain confidence and find that sweet spot where masks come off and you find yourself flying!
In this workshop, psychologist Alexandra Neves will guide you through the following:
* Impostor syndrome: the pattern in which a person doubts their skills, talents and achievements
* and is afraid of being unmasked as fraud, an imposter.
* Identify and bring into awareness your limiting beliefs and develop practical tools for
* overcoming and releasing them.
* How you can tame your inner critic, and use it to your advantage, in comedy and in life.
* The masks we wear, and why we wear them.
* And ultimately how to develop more self-confidence.
These are all transferable skills that can positively impact your stage presence, but also your professional and personal life.
Participation in this workshop is by advanced registration. Places are limited. [Book your spot here. ](https://fienta.com/mental-health-in-comedy-2026)
**About the instructor:**
Alexandra is a psychologist and has over 20 years of experience in training, personal development, and coaching. Alexandra specializes on mental health coaching, imposter syndrome, overcoming self-
sabotage, and gender equity. A newcomer to the comedy world, she has been doing stand-up for over a year, and discovering the positive effects comedy can have on mental health – and the positive effects
mental health can have in comedy!

**Abstract**
GitHub Copilot is powerful, but what if you could scale from a solo AI assistant to an entire team of specialized agents working in parallel? This session introduces Squad: an open-source framework for multi-agent orchestration that lets you define teams of AI agents with specific roles, responsibilities, and expertise.
We'll progress from Copilot basics to the Copilot CLI, explore how Agents add autonomy, and see how Instructions and Skills let you customize agent behavior. Then, the climax: a live demo where a Squad team of 3 agents (Lead, Developer, Tester) stands up and builds a working application in real-time, showcasing true multi-agent collaboration.
Whether you're new to AI or exploring how to scale your use of Copilot, this session will show you what's possible when agents work as a team.

HTML5 is the foundational technology for modern web development, serving as the standard markup language for structuring and presenting content on the World Wide Web. Developed through a collaboration between the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) and the Web Hypertext Application Technology Working Group (WHATWG), HTML5 provides a robust system of elements (tags) that tell a browser how to display text, images, and multimedia in a clear and meaningful way. It works in concert with Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) for presentation and JavaScript for interactivity, forming the core technology stack for virtually all websites and many web applications today.
One of the significant advancements of HTML5 is the introduction of powerful new features and elements designed to improve functionality and simplify development. Key additions include native multimedia support via the \ and \ tags, allowing developers to embed media without third-party plugins. It also offers new form controls for better user input, such as date and email types, and introduces web storage capabilities to store data offline for enhanced performance. These features streamline the process of building rich, interactive web experiences.
A significant focus of HTML5 is enhanced semantics and better structural organization of content. New semantic elements like , , , , and \ provide meaningful structure to documents, which aids in search engine optimization (SEO) and improves accessibility for assistive technologies. These elements define different parts of a webpage (e.g., a header for the top, a nav for navigation links, a footer for the bottom), making the code more readable and understandable for both developers and machines. This emphasis on clear structure helps in creating more logical and maintainable websites.
Developing websites in today's competitive environment requires taking advantage of every technique you can to get the maximum exposure possible. Our HTML5 class will not only show you what's new in the HTML specification, but also the best way to develop optimized web pages that get the attention your client and/or company requires.
