A favorite of the DMV's swing dance community, the Rock-A-Sonics play a mix of Rockabilly, 50's rock and country, and Western swing. Frontman Willie Barry's pure tenor is accompanied by a group of very talented musicians. Tommy Joe's in downtown Bethesda occupies the second and third floor of corner building. Bands play the second floor and there's no cover. It's easily accessible by metro or car (I use parking garage 36 Auburn- Del Ray).

This PGCC Hand Dance class is taught by the "7" Step Hand Dance Academy. The "7" Step Hand Dance Academy is a non-profit organization, dedicated to teaching, preserving, and promoting the African American art form of D.C. Hand Dancing.
