This is an opportunity to get to meet the families interested in setting up Singapore's first democratic school. Self-directed education allows children to lead their own learning journey. This approach to education has a long history with schools such as Summerhill (UK) and the Sudbury Valley School (US). Nowadays, there are hundreds of democratic schools worldwide that value self-directed education and democratic decision-making. Our aim is to set up the first democratic school in Singapore. This walk & talk is an opportunity to meet the families who support establishing such a school. We will meet at the entrance of the Botanic Garden near Botanic Garden MRT. **For ages 13 and above.** Muay Thai is a striking based martial art and sport. Also known as “The Art of Eight Limbs”, it is characterised by the combined use of the fists, elbows, knees and shins. It is an ancient martial art of Thailand known for its tremendous power. Expert classes are for students with the bare minimum for outdoor skating and would like to take it to a higher level.
