A regular meetup for those committed to practising and improving their Arabic. It is designed for those who know the very basics and want a structured opportunity to practise reading, listening, speaking, and building confidence. If you're still learning the very basics but want some motivation to keep going, you're very welcome to join.
Note: This is a practice group facilitated by a native speaker - not a formal teacher or taught class, and not a Quran teaching session.

Have you ever wanted to be immersed within either the city or nature in the form of a walk and socialise at the same time? If so, this may be the right walk for you.
Welcome to another one of the WALK events where you have the opportunity to explore all the scenic routes Iāll execute whether thereās nature within, whether we get immersed within the city and feel great about yourself.
ā©With this particular walk, we will be walking down one of the main roads from north London to east central London. To be precise, weāre walking from Silver Street to Liverpool Street. Knowing this high road, itās meant to be Turkish oriented on the Tottenham side but as we go along, thereās more than meets the eye as we cut through Dalston kingsland through to Shoreditch which consists of quite the social/night life. Finally we finish off at Liverpool Street where itās mostly touristic. Itās amazing how one long road connects to east central London.
After this, if you still want to stick around, weāll can go to either Spitalfields for dinner, Yauatcha
for some Japanese patisserie, The hummingbird bakery or any other recommendation. Weāll let democracy decide.

Embark on a scenic adventure from Chichester, weaving through charming countryside and past stunning coastal homes before reaching the highlight of the journeyāa picturesque ferry ride across the tranquil harbour. From there, follow scenic footpaths along the waterās edge, soaking in breathtaking views and the peaceful atmosphere. Using Philosophy to Cope with Current Events
So this month's prompt is more general. I think we can all agree that we are living in "unique" times that require coping skills. I think that one role and/or purpose of philosophy is to help us deal with our daily lives and our "unique" times. So, let's share our feelings and thoughts about which philosopher/philosophy we turn to in order to deal with our crazy events. Who/what helps you stay focused in your daily life and helps you sleep at night. I find that Stoicism with a little philosophical pessimism mixed in goes a long way in helping me deal with what I see as very destructive, fearful and mean spirited public policies at both the state and federal levels. Our primary groups are outdoor movement groups, but we are launching virtual groups for the state of Ohio and beyond and the groups will move outside in the spring, creating room for men's groups, women's groups and coed groups all over the country.

In person peer-led support group for survivors of complex trauma
**Complex Trauma Support Group**
Our group is intended for survivors of complex trauma. If you are here, itās likely that so much of who you are and what you have experienced in this life is actually invisible to most peopleāāto family, society, coworkers, and the people who are around you.
We are a peer-led group of survivors creating opportunities for ourselves and others to share our experiences, share support, and build relationships in kind community together. Survivor experiences might include: child sexual abuse, incest, child trafficking, and other experiences of people living with traumatic dissociation and complex PTSD.
**What to expect at your first meeting:**
Currently, we are offering a bi-monthly in person group at 2:00pm on the first and third Sunday of the month. The only criterion for joining the group is that you are a survivor of trauma wishing to have more kindness in your own life and share kindness with others, and that you agree to practice to groupās relational agreements available for view here: https://www.kindgroups.com/agreements. Joining the group is free of charge.
We ask that new people connect with us for 30 minutes on the phone or on zoom before coming to their first group, so that we can determine together that we are a good fit.
Our meetings last approximately 90 minutes. Participants are never required to share. Youāre also welcome to choose a pseudonym and you will never be asked for private information. You are welcome to leave at any time.
The kindness that survivors can share when among others who have survived similar childhood experiences is something we rarely get to experience. Time spent with others who understand even a little bit more about us is a relief. Our hope is to help ourselves and others experience that we are not alone. We wish for our efforts to be a cause of kindness in our own lives and the lives of each other.

Are you burdened by a stressful relationship? Unhealthy relationships can trigger feelings of anger, despair or self-doubt. They can create dwindling spirals of fights and seeking to make-up, or trying to āpin the blameā on someone or something.
