☕️🥕🥦 Ladies’ Farmer’s Market & Coffee Stroll (Bethesda)
Join us for a relaxed farmers market meetup where we’ll grab a drink, stroll through the market, and enjoy good conversation along the way. No pressure, no rush, just a soft start to the day with a great group of women.
We’ll start by meeting at (it’s a booth with a blue truck at the Bethesda Central farmers market) grabbing a bite or a drink and doing quick intros before exploring together.
Feel free to come solo, most of us do 💛
**Optional fun:**
Build a small bouquet 🌸
Pick up your favorite market find 🧺
Try something new ☕
We’ll wrap up by sitting for a bit and chatting once everyone’s made their rounds and show off our finds.
What to bring:
A tote bag (you’ll probably need it)
Comfortable shoes
A cute, easy outfit (if you’re in the mood ✨)
Looking forward to a light, easy morning together ☀️
Ladies Only: Focus & Flow 🎯📚
Goal Focus & Flow is a casual, women only event created for deep focus, intentional progress, and genuine connection.
Bring whatever you’re currently working on, studying, planning, writing, researching, job searching, creative projects, or personal goals and spend focused time working independently while surrounded by other women doing the same. The energy is calm, supportive, and rooted in mutual growth.
At the end of the session, we’ll do a brief, optional share where participants can talk about what they worked on and what they learned. Sharing insights helps reinforce learning, spark ideas for others, and turn individual progress into collective knowledge.
This space is intentionally designed to help women:
Stay accountable to their goals
✅ Learn from one another in an organic, low-pressure way
Retain what they’re working on by reflecting and sharing
♀️ Build friendships while growing side by side
The shared focus and reflection create a natural sense of connection, allowing friendships to form through growth rather than small talk.
Location note:
For women’s safety and comfort, the venue will not be shared publicly. The exact location will be shared privately in the group chat with confirmed attendees. Join the group chat here: https://chat.whatsapp.com/H533SlZi8h70XjkN6iSEws
Come as you are. Work at your own pace. Leave with clarity, momentum, and the feeling that you’re not growing alone.

Laughter "Yoga" Outdoors in Nottoway Park Vienna!
Sunday, May 3 is World Laughter Day! Let's get together to "laugh on purpose" or "laugh for no reason."
Laughter brings us the benefits of exercise and even some more — stress relief and a sense of connection. If you don't "feel like laughing," that's when you can often benefit the most!
Laughter Yoga has no yoga poses and no jokes — just gentle inspiration to laugh together. It's a super-healthful (research-backed) practice which is also fun, and you can participate according to your own comfort zone! (you are welcome to get a bit zany, or not at all!)
It also includes some deep breathing and gentle movement. Find out more at [www.laughteryoga.org](http://www.laughteryoga.org/) .
I'm a certified Laughter Yoga leader (yes that is a thing!) and I do it both professionally and as a volunteer. (I'll be leading laughter at a marathon warmup the day before!)
Join me from 2 - 3 pm in Nottoway Park to try this practice and feel the benefits! The park is just 1 mile from the Vienna metro station.
I'll bring large blankets so we can sit on the ground if desired (or use a picnic table). All you need is a water bottle.
Please include your cell number so we can be sure to find each other. Hope to see you!

RSVP through Meetup and pay through PayPal. Please be sure your RSVP gives your full name and phone number and where you'll be boarding the bus.
FIRST-TIME HIKERS
If you're a first-time hiker with us, please notify the leaders in advance so they can make sure you have the info you need. Hikers must be able to keep a 2-mph pace. New hikers are required to first complete a moderate hike.

Any person participating in any Club activity is responsible for their own safety, health and welfare, and must assume all risks and liabilities related to all Club activities. The Club, its hike leaders, hike sweeps, officers, and other representatives are not liable for any injuries, losses, or damage to persons, children, pets, and/or property, arising from any trips or activities of the Club.
