Queremos escuchar toda la gama de historias: esas primeras veces inesperadas, torpes, divertidas, vergonzosas o qué cambian la vida. Una primera vez puede ser un comienzo hermoso o un final abrupto. Rara vez es perfecta y muchas veces está lejos de lo que imaginábamos. Courage isn’t something we simply switch on. Between the fear we feel and the courageous actions we choose lies a rich, liminal space where reflection and insight help us find our next step. In this 90-minute guided journaling workshop, author and facilitator Jenn Baljko invites participants to explore that space through writing prompts, reflective exercises, and experiential practices. Drawing on ideas from her book *The In Between*, this interactive session offers a welcoming space to explore how stories of fear and courage shape the choices we make. No writing experience is needed, and a workbook will be provided. Bring your favorite pen, some curiosity, and a willingness to explore the curves of your own spiral path. About the host: **Jenn Baljko** is a catalyst for midlife women ready to take their brave next step. She helps women navigate periods of transition and move from uncertainty into clarity, confidence, and wonder-filled action. As an author and creativity kindler at Always On My Way, she designs and facilitates life-giving experiences, walk-and-talks, and immersive gatherings that reignite women’s creative superpower and realign them with what matters most. Her work blends storytelling, reflective practices, intuitive movement, and creative exploration, initiating and guiding women through the liminal space where fear curves into courage.

**L’Eix Fort Pienc ho dona tot per l’Orgull Friki!** Botigues, escenaris i cultura pop al cor del triangle friki ens sumem a la gran celebració del Dia de l’Orgull Friki de Barcelona, una jornada plena d’activitats per a tots els públics al Passeig de Lluís Companys, sota l’Arc de Triomf. Organitzat pel Departament de Joventut de l’Ajuntament de Barcelona, amb la col·laboració d’Eix Fort Pienc i la participació de nombroses entitats frikis de la ciutat, l’esdeveniment omplirà el passeig d’activitats de 12 a 20 h amb un ambient festiu, creatiu i carregat de referències a la cultura pop, el manga, l’anime, la fantasia, els jocs de rol i de taula, el cosplay i molt més. El Rol en Viu consisteix a afegir-li una acció més teatral i dramàtica a aquests enfrontaments. Si t'interessa aprendre a combatre, emular les lluites de les teves pel·lícules favorites, lluitar amb espasa, subjectar un escut, dominar els secrets de l'equilibri de peus o fer fitnes d'un mode diferent; el Softcombat i el Rol en Viu són una activitat que has de provar. **És durant el matí de 11h a 13.30h quan major quantitat de participants es reuneixen. A la tarda, es queda(a vegades) un petit grup, però no es pot garantir la seva presència fins a les 18h, sobretot a l'hivern. Recomanem anar de demà.** *** **REGLES BÀSIQUES PER AL SOFTCOMBAT** **NORMATIVA I SEGURETAT** **la participació en un esdeveniment implica l'acceptació d'aquestes:** Per a garantir la seguretat dels participants, totes les armes alienes a seran testades prèviament, conservant-se el dret a admissió de l'arma o de l'usuari. Com tot esport de contacte, cal anar amb compte i apel·lar sempre al sentit comú i a la companyonia, en inscriure's en la nostra comunitat, el participant o tutors del participant accepten la total responsabilitat de qualsevol mal, lesió, pèrdua... que pugui succeir dins dels entrenaments. **La participació en un esdeveniment implica l'acceptació d'aquestes.** 1. No estan permesos cops **ni al cap ni en els genitals.** 2. **La/s ma/ns** que subjecten l'arma fins a la nina no són blanc vàlid. 3. **No es pot estocar,** només colpejar amb el lateral de l'arma. 4. **Abans de començar** qualsevol enfrontament, cal estendre les armes, procedir a una lleugera salutació mitjançant el xoc entre aquestes. 5. **Cuida del company** amb el qual entrenes. Vigila la seva esquena i advertir-li de forats, arbres, altres persones o altres irregularitats en el terreny. 6. **Abans d'emprar qualsevol propietat aliena**, demana permís al seu propietari. Si algú trenca l'equip d'una altra persona, el propietari pot reclamar una compensació econòmica pels materials. 7. Els **menors de 14 anys** hauran d'anar acompanyats d'un adult responsable. Els menors de 16 anys hauran de portar un document emès per un tutor responsable, eximint de responsabilitat als Organitzadors (o confirmar meetup conforme l'acceptació d'aquestes normes). 8. **L'Organització no es farà responsable** de cap mena de lesió, mal o ferida que pugui succeir durant els entrenaments. 9. Diverteix-te i gaudeix, és un gran esport. 10. **L'organització es reserva el dret a vetar** la participació als qui consideri, sense haver de donar explicacions. Sobretot davant persones que hagin demostrat de manera present o passada un comportament deshonest, vexatori o frau davant l'entitat, els seus membres o equip de direcció. 11. Amb la participació en les activitats de Softcombat Bcn Events Associació Cultural, es declara que l'interessat accepta la política de privacitat i tractament de dades personals concorde a la normativa vigent de la LOPD (UE 2016/679). La qual garanteix un tractament anònim i confidencial de les dades facilitades, excepte indicació explicita del signant. DIGIT arriba a Barcelona amb una tarda-vespre a La Clandestina, pensada com a espai de trobada, escolta i intercanvi entre escenes. DIGIT és un microfestival íntim de música i arts digitals que se celebrarà del 21 al 23 d’agost al Camp de Tarragona, amb centre neuràlgic a Pratdip, en un entorn de bosc i muntanya. Aquesta activitat vol ser una primera aproximació al seu univers a la ciutat. La jornada començarà amb el duo .apart (Javi i Alex / ameeva), que presentaran en format workshop el procés creatiu d’una peça o instal·lació sonora multicanal que estan desenvolupant per al festival: una oportunitat per compartir metodologies, intuïcions i obrir un espai d’escolta i diàleg amb el públic.ç Després, la jornada es traslladarà a la terrassa amb dj sets d’Espacio Vacío (Colectivo Simulacro) i Imox & Garber (Subradio), que acompanyaran l’ambient amb una selecció que es mourà entre l’escolta, l’eclecticisme, el downtempo o el ball, generant un espai distès per connectar, conversar o simplement deixar-se portar per la música. **Looking for a group you can write with *whilst sipping your fave coffee*?** ☕✍️ Then come join **Shut Up & Write!** on **Saturday, May 23rd from 1:30pm to 4:00pm** at **Ridgetop Coffee & Tea**! Whether you're cranking out a novel, journaling, looking for new friends, or just trying to get that stubborn paragraph right—we’ve got a cozy seat and a supportive group waiting for you! **No critiques, no peer review, no pressure—just a chill space to get words on the page.** 📝 **What to expect:** 1:30–2:00pm – Grab your coffee or tea, find your seat, and meet your fellow writers. 2:00pm–3:30pm – Silent, focused writing time 3:30–4:00pm – Debrief, celebrate any writing wins, commiserate on any obstacles, and head out feeling accomplished. **RSVP Info:** The room seats only 8 people comfortably! RSVP as soon as possible to secure your spot!! If you are unable to attend, please cancel your reservation **ASAP** so those on the wait list are able to RSVP and attend!!! **Meeting Room:** Enter the coffee shop, walk straight towards the play area and on your left you will see a meeting room just past the bathrooms. The room has a TV, white board, and walls are painted green. **What to Bring:** Whatever helps you focus, and be productive. There is a wall outlet at each end of the room, so you're able to bring your laptop to write. You're welcome to bring headphones if you enjoy listening to music while working. **Parking & Accessibility:** there is a large parking lot out front and it is free! There are no stair cases when entering the coffee shop or when inside. This coffee shop is incredibly spacious with many seating options. If you have any questions, please message me through MeetUp.
