Trail Mix: Worship On The Move
Trail Mix: Worship on the Move SATURDAYS\| 9 AM
Meet @Vine Outdoor Picnic Tables (2501 Gallows Road)
Trail Mix: Worship on the Move is a unique worship experience that invites us beyond the church walls and onto the W&OD Trail to encounter God in the beauty and freedom of the outdoors.
We begin at Vine Church with a warm welcome, gentle stretching, scripture, and a centering thought before walking together to the trail. Like a pilgrimage, this time of walking or running becomes a space for fellowship, reflection, and openness to the gentle surprises of the Holy Spirit moving through creation.
As we journey, worship happens in the quiet noticing: the rhythm of our steps, the sounds of nature, the beauty of the sky. Some may walk, others jog or run. Everyone moves at their own pace, yet we share the trail as one community of faith.
When we return to Vine, weโll share simple trail snacks (like trail mix or granola bars)โa small but meaningful meal that reminds us Christ nourishes us along the way, wherever our paths may lead.
This is a great service for families (all ages welcome), singles (join a community), people who are neurodiverse, or who feel most connected when they can be alone togetherโsharing space with others while moving at their own pace, without pressure to talk or engage in traditional ways. The structure is open and spacious, allowing room for silence, prayer, or conversationโwhatever feels right to you.
Trail Mix is for everyone: those rooted in church life, those exploring faith for the first time, those who find God best in wide open spaces. Come expecting to move, breathe, pray, and experience the sacred in the world around you.

A Poetry Workshop
Hey Poetry Lovers!
This group is on a roll. Hereโs the gist:
We meet at the **Capital One Cafรฉ in Chinatown** from **12pm - 2pm** every other week.
For enrichment, we start by reading and reflecting on a **โpublished poemโ**, suggested by someone in the group. No advance preparation is necessary. But feel free to check out some of the poems weโve read [here](https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/e/2PACX-1vSyE_wCLQCPHRrKmN5F9tOIeeRQUZESxjRXGVBoCF2uU8Gm0_d0uECiCBCQXEy6ksxfsBOhtRIOpW3T/pubhtml?gid=0&single=true&widget=true&headers=false%22%3E%3C/iframe%3E). Or submit suggestions for future meetings [here](https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSexGc2Z2Kp6bZW0D3_hfJ7NUUkfNHf7TXX-43FglCeBd9EF2Q/viewform?usp=send_form).
Next, we **share our work and offer feedback**. Depending on attendance, everyone gets \~10 minutes to use as they like. (No need to share, though; youโre welcome to come even if you prefer just to listen.)
We maintain a **Discord server** to help share our work and communicate outside our bi-weekly meet-ups. If you havenโt used Discord before, take a moment to download it and create an account before arriving. When we meet you on Saturday, we will add you to our server, the โDC Poetry Workshopโ, and can help you navigate the app if you have questions.
Finally, if you plan on sharing a poem, consider how you will do so. Some options include:
* Print 5-10 copies to distribute in person
* Take and share screenshots in the Discord chat.
* Copy the poem into a google doc, change sharing settings to โanyone with linkโ, and copy the google doc link into the Discord chat.
Most importantly, weโre excited to meet you!
Catch you on Saturday,

Socrates Cafรฉ Rockville Meetup
Socrates Cafรฉ meets twice a month. Though this may be considered a "philosophical" group, there are no rules as to what is discussed. Usually, the topics revolve around social concerns, morality, and the first principles of things.
Prior to each meeting we vote online for the questions we will discuss. That way, we will have enough time to ruminate on them and have more in-depth conversations. If you RSVP to a meeting, you may post your question in the event comments section below. I'll send out a survey for voting a few days prior to the meetup. We discuss two questions each night. So you will get to cast two votes in the survey.
When we meet, we break into smaller groups of five to seven to discuss the top two vote-getters. Each group discusses one question for around 45-50 minutes, and we then take a short break. After reconvening, each group moves on to its second question.
Hope to see you there!
-Brian
ASL Brunch on Sundays in Greenbelt
Join our ASL Brunch on Sundays in Greenbelt! All ASL users and learners are welcome.
Brunches are alternately held at two restaurants in Greenbelt, both in the same town plaza.
ODD WEEKS: 1st, 3rd, and 5th Sundays, we meet at Cedars of Lebanon, 103 Centerway.
EVEN WEEKS: 2nd and 4th Sundays, we meet at New Deal Cafรฉ,113 Centerway.
We are the Greenbelt ASL Community, a group of both Deaf and hearing people who hang out, chat about everyday goings on, trade stories, get to know each other better, and of course, enjoy food together. Many members use ASL as their primary language, several are interpreters or other fluent ASL users, while others are ASL learners who wish to improve their skills while making new friends.
Before or after brunch, you can visit the farmer's market and small coop grocery store in the plaza.
Please RSVP so we can contact you via email if needed.
Our group is on Facebook as Greenbelt ASL Community. Some longtime Brunch attendees don't mark their attendance here, so feel free to stop by even if you don't see others who have RSVP'd on Meet-up.

We will assign tables for represented languages. All languages are welcome! However we don't guarantee the availability of a partner in that particular language, you would like to exchange.
As you all remember well, this event used to bring out hundreds of people every week. However, it was discontinued last year for obvious reasons and we couldn't gather that many people now, because of restrictions. Hence, we are downsizing and caping the number of attendees. We have super limited spots and advance ticket purchase is required.
***AFTER THE HAPPY HOUR, WE HIT THE DANCE FLOOR! BRING YOUR DANCING SHOES, WE WILL DANCE THE NIGHT AWAY!***
HOW IT WORKS : We will try to assign tables for each represented languages and will direct attendees to their respective tables accordingly. All languages are welcome! However we don't guarantee the availability of a partner in that particular language, you would like to exchange.

6. This is a face-to-face language exchange event. DO NOT try to arrange an online meeting, by using the comment box or direct message.

8. We have ZERO TOLERANCE for solicitation. We don't allow anyone to run their own agenda at the Event. If you are interested to promote/sponsor/collaborate; contact us via (info@merevents.com).

Casual Boardgames - make friends, then beat them in games
Welcome to Casual Boardgames, where we enjoy classic tabletop games and social deduction games while bonding over good food, drinks, and great conversations.
โฉWe started this group to meet new people and make new friends, and bonding over games in a relaxed atmosphere is a great way to do that.
We currently meet near route 23 and Polaris Parkway, and this is close to areas like Powell, Lewis Center, Worthington, and parts of Westerville and Columbus.
โฉFeel free to bring your own games or play one of the many games our members bring. If you are inexperienced, we will help you learn.
โฉHere are just a few examples of the kind of games we play.
โฉTabletop/board games: Splendor, Catan, Azul, Dominion, 7 Wondersโฆ
โฉSocial deduction games: Code Names, Chameleon, Werewordsโฆ
โฉIMPORTANT:
โฉ1. While we love playing a variety of games and competing, we are not just about the games. We interact and talk while playing, and this leads to a lot of laughter and fun. If you just want to compete and focus solely on the game, then this is probably not the group you are looking for.
โฉ2. Many people join groups like this and never (or rarely) show up after weeks or months. If you join and never really come, we will eventually remove you from the group as a courtesy to our members. Why? Because limiting group conversations (on the app) to regular members makes communication and planning much easier. Also, while it may be rare, it protects members from people who join because they are interested in following a person instead of having a real interest in our group. If you get removed, it is just because you havenโt come, and we follow this protocol as a courtesy to our regular game players.

Marketing Monday Networking
Monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners. One specific topic, one to three actions you can run this week.
You can be the best at what you do and still be invisible. If local buyers cannot find you, the phone does not ring.
Marketing Monday Lunch + Learn is a monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners focused on building relationships, local networking, and local marketing. Every kind of local business welcome. No pitch round, no pressure, no upsell.
**This month**
Most local businesses pick one or two places to be visible and call it good. The result is inconsistent calls and a feeling that marketing is not working. We will walk through the three places every local business needs to show up, plus the fourth place most owners ignore that quietly produces the warmest leads.
**What to expect**
Doors open at noon. Order lunch and drinks at the cafe counter or bring your own. You get real conversation with other local owners and a focused marketing lesson. You leave knowing people and with one to three actions to run that week. The room is reserved through 1:30 PM.
**Who this is for**
Any local business owner who wants clearer marketing direction and real local relationships. Service businesses, retail, home services, professional services, online owners building local presence, anyone serious about being part of the Columbus business community.
**Not the right fit if**
You are here to pitch the room or recruit for an MLM.
**Details**
* Second Monday of every month
* 12:00 to 1:30 PM
* Good Cafe Easton, 4400 Easton Commons, Ste 150, Columbus, OH 43219
* Order lunch and drinks at the counter when you arrive
* Free to attend, RSVP required, space is limited
