One Year of Creativity
One Year of Creativity
We cordially invite you to the exhibition ONE YEAR OF CREATIVITY by Linda, known as Lovely Lynn Loves. **Vernissage** Friday, June 5, 2-10 p.m. **Opening** Times Saturday & Sunday, June 6 & 7, 6-10 p.m. Linda is an artist whose journey into art has been shaped by sensitivity, a longing for freedom and a deep connection to nature. Having grown up in a small village, music, creativity and a love of flowers, colours and the beauty of the earth have been part of her life since her earliest childhood. Her artistic development was shaped by formative family influences: her grandmother, who introduced her to nature, and her grandfather, who nurtured her creativity through music. She sang from an early age, loved art and music at school, and throughout many stages of her life has repeatedly found expression through design, sound and language. Today, her work combines watercolour art, upcycled fashion, doodles, natural materials, poems and song lyrics into a unique, vibrant visual language. Her art is an expression of a journey that speaks of lived experience, transformation, courage and a strong inner creativity. In 2025, she exhibited her work for the first time in the ‘Summer Memories’ exhibition at the Kunstraum Heartspacea, and has since been constantly developing her style across slow fashion, painting, workshops and independent artistic practice. In her art, she weaves together watercolor, upcycling, doodle art, natural materials, music, and language to create a multifaceted, deeply personal visual world. Her works emerge from a creative journey shaped by a deep connection to nature, lived experience, and a desire for self-expression, freedom, and sustainability. In her current exhibition, she showcases these diverse facets of her creative practice in a vibrant blend of painting, fashion, text, and object art.

Calligraphy Workshop
Calligraphy Workshop
Try out Japanese calligraphy with us! Everything you need is ready, just come and enjoy. The tradition of calligraphy was first brought to Japan from China in the 6th century. The style and technique, unique to Japan, later evolved and was practiced by the samurai, the nobility and the general public. We will practice different types of kanji and try to transform them into artistic works, which you can of course take home with you. I hope you have fun and discover new Japanese art! 書道のワークショップを開催します。 皆さんと楽しく練習して、最後には作品が作れればと思っています。 道具もすべてこちらで準備していますのでぜひご参加ください!

May book selection: Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico
May book selection: Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico
In May, we delve into a story that can depict any of our lives...Perfection by Vincenzo Latronico, set in Berlin in our times. And about a couple of expats. Like many of us. **About the Book** *Perfection f*ollows a couple — Anna and Tom — from southern Europe who move to **Berlin** hoping to build a modern, fulfilling life as digital creatives. On the surface, they live what many would envy: a stylish flat, freelance work they enjoy, houseplants, and image-curated lives shared online. But beneath the curated image lies something quite different... This novel is the "perfect" mirror (forgive the pun here) held up to contemporary life — illustrating how the pursuit of beauty, freedom, and individuality can sometimes lead to the opposite: sameness, dissatisfaction, and a sense of life lived *for the frame*. **About the Author** **Vincenzo Latronico** is an Italian novelist, translator, essayist, and critic, born in Rome in 1984. He studied philosophy in Milan before beginning his career as a writer and translator. His prose is known for observational clarity, minimalist dialogue, and a blend of narrative with cultural reflection — qualities that make his work feel at once literary and sharply attuned to contemporary life. **About the event: Commitment fee** To help ensure accurate attendance and make event planning sustainable, a commitment fee of **€2** is required to confirm your participation. Unfortunately, at a recent event, several participants registered but did not attend or provide any notice. As organizing these meetings requires time, preparation, and resources, this small fee helps encourage reliable RSVPs and attendance. The fee is **non-refundable** if you choose not to attend or do not show up. However, if the event is cancelled by the organizer or rescheduled to a date that prevents you from attending, your fee will be refunded promptly after the change is announced. For special circumstances, like waking up sick and having to cancel last minute, you can write me a private message and we'll transfer the fee to a next event you indicate. You can send the fee here: [https://revolut.me/angelicacorsi](https://revolut.me/angelicacorsi) Please include your MeetUp name in the payment note so I can identify your registration. If you can no longer attend, or if you prefer not to pay the commitment fee, please update your RSVP as soon as possible so your spot can be made available to others. Thank you for your understanding and support. **About the Location** We will meet in Merienda Haus, a wonderful cosy coffee shop offering Argentinean and Uruguayan specialities. I invite you to order something and enjoy their drinks and food menu :=)

We usually have about 50 to 100 people at each event.** ***FAQ: Why does it cost money if I bring my own project?*** Because we rent a beautiful, central space for every event. Ever thought your monthly apartment rent was too high? Well, multiply that – that’s what commercial spaces in big cities like Berlin cost *per hour*. Of course, if all you want is just some quiet time, your home or a library is perfect. But if you’d like to focus & connect with others in an inspiring space – with drinks, snacks included – that’s what your ticket helps to cover. The money we collect is used solely for the purpose of the community. Of course you can come once or twice without contributing to check us out!*
Evening of Meditation - Access solutions more easily
Evening of Meditation - Access solutions more easily
*There are always more participants coming as regulars or from other platforms than shown here* \-\-\- We invite you to join our weekly Evenings of Meditation, to gently meet yourself, dissolve stress and live life from beautiful inner states, like calm, joy and connection. These gatherings are not just about meditating on your own, but a step inward we take together. Each time we’ll look into a particular topic in the light of timeless wisdom, reflect on it in a guided meditation, do powerful Oneness practices for greater wellbeing, and experience Deeksha - which helps to speed up your inner growth. **This week's topic: Access solutions more easily** Sometimes, when we face a problem or feel hurt, we tend to analyze it until we become exhausted. There is so much knowledge available that can help, yet for some reason, trying to apply it while in a state of stress often leads to greater disconnection or unsatisfying results. For example, you may say all the psychologically "right" words, yet the wall between you and the other person remains. Let's explore what can help us dissolve conflicts and move into a deeper connection. For more info see: [www.onenessberlin.com](http://www.onenessberlin.com/) 🎟️ **Entry**: € 10 for walk-ins (in cash or PayPal) just for us to pay for the space or **[get a ticket from € 5 >](https://momence.com/l/dah4nwad)** 📍**Where**: Yoga Sky, Am Tempelhofer Berg 7d, 10965 Berlin Follow the Yoga Sky signs in the yard, and take the elevator to the top floor. 🗓 **When**: Sunday, 7th of June, 19:00 - 20:30 Please arrive 5-10 min earlier to settle down. You’re welcome, no matter your background or experience. This is what has worked for us over many years and we love to share it with you. Looking forward to see you, Oneness Berlin Florian & Jazgul

Lousy & Lazy SC - Election Day
Lousy & Lazy SC - Election Day
Unfortunately, German Vereinsrecht requires us to have a board. Fortunately, it only happens once in a while (every 4 years). Today all members of the Lousy & Lazy Sport Club are invited to vote who they want as their board for the next 4 years. Participation is voluntary. Voting is voluntary. Complaining afterwards is strongly discouraged. Remember: if you don't vote, you might end up with the AFD. Or worse.

Marketing Monday Networking
Monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners. One specific topic, one to three actions you can run this week. You can be the best at what you do and still be invisible. If local buyers cannot find you, the phone does not ring. Marketing Monday Lunch + Learn is a monthly working lunch for Columbus business owners focused on building relationships, local networking, and local marketing. Every kind of local business welcome. No pitch round, no pressure, no upsell. **This month** Most local businesses pick one or two places to be visible and call it good. Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
Data & Analytics Wednesday - Finding Product Insights
**The Behavior Gap: Where Products Win or Lose** Teams today have more data than ever, and yet many still struggle to understand why customers adopt, engage with, or abandon their products. Teams sprint, ship faster, and chase more signals… all while metrics stall and confidence drops. The missing piece isn’t more data. It’s often the behavioral insight between the metrics, explaining why the numbers move in the first place. Dashboards can tell you what customers did, but understanding why they did it (and how to influence what they do next) requires a deeper blend of insights. This session is about closing that gap. Drawing from real-world experience designing and scaling products as [ZoCo Design](https://zocodesign.com/)’s CEO, [Lacey](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) will share how to cut through the noise and identify the insights that actually change behavior—moving people, and moving metrics. You’ll learn: * Why understanding customer behavior is a quant and qual challenge * How to spot the signals that actually predict behavior change * Where AI accelerates insight, and where it creates distraction * How to get meaningfully closer to customers, without adding more tools This talk reframes how to evaluate performance and identify what levers actually improve it, helping your team to make smarter bets with greater confidence. Every meaningful outcome is driven by behavior change. And when you know how to design for behavior, you stop guessing, and start building things that work. **About Our Speaker** [Lacey Picazo](https://www.linkedin.com/in/laceypicazo/) is the Founder and CEO of ZoCo, a healthcare product studio that turns complex, high-stakes ideas into products that drive real-world adoption. She partners with healthcare organizations to uncover critical care delivery insights, focus product strategy through behavior design, and build solutions that patients and providers actually use.
