Beaver Dam Night Ride
Details
This will be a ~1.5 hour night ride at Beaver Dam. Meet at the mountain bike trailhead parking lot around 5:30. Bring at least two front lights (a helmet light is a good idea) and make sure they are charged and will last the full ~1.5-2 hours of riding. This ride is unsupported so bring what you need to make it back to your vehicle by 7:30pm.
You should be comfortable riding at night and be familiar with Beaver Dam trails, especially South Loop. Ride will be cancelled if trail is closed due to wet/freezing trail conditions. Check trianglemtb.org or trailforks.com for trail status. If the trail is closed the day before, the rangers will usually let us know day of if they plan on opening in time for the ride, will post updates in the comments to trail status as necessary.
Plan on being ready to roll out by 5:50pm to be back at the parking lot by 7:30. Vehicles need to be out of the park by 7:45pm so the park rangers can lock the gates.
We usually do Outer+West+South Loops, but can adjust as the group sees fit. If there are enough riders for two groups we can split up.
Traffic on Creedmoor can be moving very slow around 5pm, please plan accordingly.
