Hey, it’s your friendly neighborhood Trail Coordinator!

The next BC Trail workday is scheduled for May 23rd, 9am at the BC Clubhouse (weather permitting). We’ll have Gatorade in the Clubhouse - meet us inside! We will drive to the work site(s) no later than 915am.

We are starting our trimming efforts for the year. We usually trim 3 or 4 workdays a year due to how aggressive plant growth is on our trails. This will help keep trails open in the first place, trail sight lines clear (safety issue), and reduce the number of thorns you walk or ride through.

Can’t make the trail day but still want to help? Talk to me, I’m happy to assign areas to folks.
See something that isn’t on the map? Also talk to me, and I’ll queue it up for dispatch.

What are we doing?

  • Trimming! Clearing a 6’ wide x 8’ tall corridor on our trails.

What will TORC bring?

  • Some clippers/loppers, weed whackers, hedge trimmers
  • A map of what to trim

What should you bring?

  • Your favorite clippers/loppers, weed whackers, hedge trimmer
  • Gloves, water, appropriate clothing (long pants recommended, close toed shoes a must)

Kid friendly?
