Brumley - Bicycle Chain + TORC
Details
This is a TORC and Bicycle Chain partnership ride! Do you want to explore more local mountain bike trails in the triangle? Want to find riding buddies? Want to familiarizing yourself with some new trails? Join two TORC Members and Bicycle Chain Apex mechanics - Elise and Nicolas - to ride local trails on upcoming Sundays at 9am. These social-pace rides will be 1-2 hours in length and they are beginner friendly. Bring water, a helmet, and your bike in good working order. Distances will be determined with those in attendance.
These trails at Brumley Nature Preserve are beginner friendly with intermediate areas, flowy, farther loops have rock gardens and climbs. E-bikes are not allowed here unless they the user has received an exemption.
All rides depart the parking area at 9am. Expected pace is 6-8 mph. Rides will not occur if trails are wet or closed. See trail conditions at https://www.torc-nc.org/
Please sign the 2026 season ride waiver (you only need to do this once per year).
