TORC Fall Camp Trip - Old Fort
Details
TORC has reserved 7 campsites at Curtis Creek Campground for our fall trip.
If you want to camp- Each site is limited to 6 people and 2 cars. The campground has water access but the toilets are vault and there are no showers. I am going to bring a propane water heater and use the onsite water for showers. I have also used the creek to shower in the past.
Schedule: Tentative
Friday - Meet around 1 at the Watershed Bike Park. Go to setup camp after. Meet at Hillman Brewing for dinner.
Saturday - Full Heartbreak. Longest downhill in NC. Right now plan is to go up the old toll road - not an easy climb. Hoping a shuttling opportunity will be available. Burger and dog cookout at the campsite after.
Sunday - Kitsuma and Bernard Mountain before heading out.
Please car pool if possible.
Please fill out the waiver before coming https://www.torc-nc.org/waiver/
What to bring:
