New Trail Celebration at Centennial
Details
Join Triangle Off-Road Cyclists (TORC) and Person County for a community celebration of the growing trail network at Roxboro Rotary Centennial Park!
Explore the park’s woodland trails, discover the completed TORC-funded mountain-bike flow trail, and celebrate the volunteers and partners helping create more opportunities for outdoor recreation in Person County. Whether you ride, hike, volunteer, or simply want to learn more about the park, we’d love to see you there.
Date: Saturday, November 14, 2026
Planned hours: 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Eastern
Location: Roxboro Rotary Centennial Park, 909 Stan’s Way, Rougemont, NC 27572
Rain backup: Sunday, November 15
Person County owns the park and leads its development, with Person County Recreation, Arts & Parks serving as lead sponsor for the celebration. The park honors the Rotary Club of Roxboro and its investment in the Farm to Park project. TORC’s contribution includes the completed downhill flow trail and its separate return connection.
The day is being planned around trail exploration, riding, learning, and stewardship. Final activities, event hours, available routes, and visitor details are still being confirmed. Please follow posted trail-use signs and check the event webpage for updates before heading out.
Interested in helping shape the day? We welcome interest from volunteers, community organizations, businesses, and activity leaders. The participation form on the event webpage is for prospective contributors and volunteers; it is not general visitor registration.
