Hardware Limitations of AI - Simar Cheema

Simar is a hardware engineer at AMD with 9 years of experience in the ASIC industry. 5 years ago he had an existential crisis about AI taking his job that he decided to definitively answer the question and began machine learning collaborations with the goal of automating his own job. This talk is a byproduct of his research in this endeavor. His passions in life are spreadsheets, mind maps, simulations and gaming the life meta. Curiosity driven theatrical idealist with a touch of whimsical sarcasm about sums it up.
