Are you looking to meet other like minded 2SLGBTQIA+ professionals in Toronto? Would you like to make new friends and socialize? Are you looking for something different than the party scene? This group is for you!
This group is a place for 2SLGBTQIA+ professionals in Toronto/GTA from all industries to meet, make new friends and share interests. You might make a new friend, business contact or learn something new from others. At the very least, you'll have fun!!
We welcome folks from all professional backgrounds - from local business owners to corporate executives, and everything in between.
We will have a blend of events that are either free or low cost. We are open to suggestions as well, get in touch with Animal or Qristof with your ideas!
To ensure fairness and equality to all members*. RSVPs are first-come-first-serve.* If an event is at maximum, please join the waitlist as people often cancel a day ahead of the event.
*Although Meetup is free for you, it is not free for event organizers. We pay a monthly fee for this group to exist and are happy to give our time for this effort. Some events that would incur above average cost will be modestly ticketed. We will have a blend of free and paid events.
Group Compliance:
- Only members with a clear, front facing, profile picture and first name will be permitted. No anonymous members.
- This is not a dating group. The focus is to bring LGBTQ+ professionals together in a friendly setting, not to find a romantic interest.
- We encourage friendly networking, however this is not the place to sell your products.
- RSVP means you are attending an event. You are taking a spot from someone else who may want to come (space is limited). You will receive a written warning on your second no-show. After 3 no-shows you will be removed from the group.
- Members who exhibit a pattern (more than 2 times in 3 months) of RSVPing yes, then cancelling after the deadline has passed, will be given a warning and/or removed from the group. When you do this, you are arbitrarily holding a spot for yourself that someone else could not have.
- This is a safe space for everyone from every place, that means no harassment, judgement, rudeness or other negative comments. Please report any inappropriate behaviour to the group moderator ASAP.
