Toronto Movies and Social Group (TM&SG), is not-for-profit organization which celebrating 12 years! We not only go to movies but other events like walks, trivia, dinners, crusies, karaoke, and much, much more. not only that, Mathew the head Organizer and found of the group was just named one of the top Organizers on Meetup this year! This is why this group is still around because we know how to create fun and engaging events. We help members to socialize, support you on make friends and form long lasting friendships. We do this through social events as we are a group open to singles and non-singles, as we are social and we have single's and non- single's in the group. Our members keep returning after trying other groups because of what we have to offer. Come out and trying something new and see what can happen!
Here at Toronto Movies and Social Group, we celebrate the story telling of every aspect that film has to offer from Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in film. At TM&SG we anticipated and take the challenge out of finding the best and unique movies that cinema has to offer. Whether it's from a big block buster or a small independent movie we have you covered....Don't forgot that we offer many other different events.

Sign up now and you can put down a deposit as little as $520 to save your room but this might change.
This will be a 7 day cruise starting and ending from Rotterdam (day 1). 4 port days, 2 scenic relaxing seas day with some scenic cruising insideth fjords ! Which is one of the most beautiful scenic part of this crusie!

How it all works:
We will be working witha Cruise Consultant through Holland America Line (HAL). She will be dealing with the room bookings, and any other costs associated with the cruise.
Mathew will be dealing with all the day to day stuff about the crusie life and about the ports we are visiting. He will be setting up all the shore excursions, dining reservations and activities.
When you sign up, you will be on the waiting list, you will be asked for your email and more information will be email to you on the crusie with dates to remember. You will be given the contact of the Cruise Consultant and how to book your room. Once you have paid your deposit, you will message Mathew back and will be moved over to "going".
Accommodations:
All costs are in Canadian and base on solo traveler with the room to yourself and it come with the HAVE IT ALL package. If you would like to share aound please add about $1000 and divide it by 2. It will be cheaper with two people in the room.

Flight - You must fly in the day before as you don't want to miss the ship. You might want to fly into Amsterdam (it's also cheaper) and spend a few days there.
Hotel - We will work together to find something cheap for the group
Excursions - Please add another $500. Everything is really expensive.
Day to Day stuff on the ship - bingo, specialty restaurants, specialty coffees, spas and much more
Speading Money - Money for when you are in shore.
Health insurance- You will want/need health insurance.
Cruise insurance - This will be for cancellations, missed departures, lost or stolen items and miss ports (it happens).

- Jarvis Street Baptist Church - Jarvis Street Baptist Church was designed in the Gothic Revival style by the architectural firm of Langley & Burke - Edmund Burke served for many years at the church as a Sunday school teacher, chair of the choir committee and deacon. It was one of the first churches in Canada to be built with an amphitheatre-style interior.
- St. George Greek Orthodox Church - It stands as a dynamic affirmation of the spiritual and artistic achievement of the Byzantine religious tradition. Built in 1897 by the Canadian architect John Wilson Siddall, the building functioned as a synagogue until 1937 when it was acquired by the parish of Saint George.
- **The Thornton-Smith Building -**The building was designed in 1922 by John M. Lyle (1872-1945) for the Thornton-Smith Company, an antique furniture and interior design firm. A stunning event venue that keeps the 100 years of history on Yonge Street alive by boasting exposed brick, hardwood floors, three magnificent skylights and original windows that have witnessed celebrations of so many Toronto milestones on Yonge Street over the past century.
- Masjid Toronto, Mosque - The architecture and design of the mosque's three-floor building, which was initially a bank and became a place of worship, reflects the heritage and legacy of the city of Toronto.
- The Church of the Holy Trinity (must see) - Is one of the oldest Anglican churches in Toronto. Built to serve Irish immigrants fleeing famine in 1847, it has a long history of activism on behalf of and with those who find themselves on the margins of society.
- Old City Hall (must see) - Toronto's Old City Hall was built over 10 years (1889-1899). Constructed in the Richardsonian Romanesque style with two-tone red sandstone from across Canada, the building is adorned with carvings of animals and humans (including, reportedly, Lennox himself)....Please note: We might have to wait to get in.
- Terroni Adelaide - Formerly the York County Court House, 57 Adelaide Street East is an architecturally significant multi-level heritage structure built in 1852. he "Opera dei Pupi Siciliani" was acknowledged in 2008 as a UNESCO Masterpiece of the Oral and Intangible Heritage of Humanity. T
- St. Lawrence Market North - The newly redeveloped St. Lawrence Market North Building is the historic home of the Saturday Farmers Market, a cornerstone of the market's heritage since 1803.
- Market Gallery - The Market Gallery animates the second floor of St. Lawrence Market South, which encloses Toronto's original 19th-century City Hall council chamber that operated from this Front Street location from 1845 to 1899. Let's grab something to go because we are at St. Lawrence Market.
- Redpath Sugar (we will try) - Redpath Sugar began in Canada in 1854 and has been operating in Toronto since 1959. It has been proud to call the Toronto Harbourfront its home for over 65 years.
