What we’re about
Toronto Movies and Social Group (TM&SG), is celebrating 11 years and not only that, Mathew the head Organizer and found of the group was just named one of the top Organizers on Meetup this year! This is why this group is still around because we know how to create fun and engaging events. We help members to socialize, support you on make friends and form long lasting friendships. We do this through social events as we are a group open to singles and non-singles, as we are social and we have single's and non- single's in the group. Our members keep returning after trying other groups because of what we have to offer. Come out and trying something new and see what can happen!
Here at Toronto Movies and Social Group, we celebrate the story telling of every aspect that film has to offer from Good, the Bad, and the Ugly in film. At TM&SG we anticipated and take the challenge out of finding the best and unique movies that cinema has to offer. Whether it's from a big block buster or a small independent movie we have you covered....Don't forgot that we offer many other different events.
It is the policy of Toronto Movies and Social Group ensure a warm and welcoming environment to all. We strive and continue to create and environment for everyone in the basis of race, colour, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, age, disability, marital status, citizenship, national origin, genetic information, socioeconomic status and social class or any other characteristic protected by law. Toronto Movies and Social Group prohibits any such discrimination or harassment to it's members or anything that prevents members from equal opportunity to getting the same information at the sometime such as receiving an invite first to event before other members do. Members that create an unwelcoming environment maybe removed from the group and reported to Meetup about their behavior.

PLEASE NOTE: After some feedback there will be some changes made for this event. The Organizer of this event has the right to move members as needed to other teams and save a spaces for new members. This to ensure that we don't have stacked teams and that the our Meetup group comes across as "cliquey". You might be asked in a friendly, nice and polite way to move to another team. We want everyone to feel welcomed, supported and feel like they can be apart of this community. We will also not take the trivia very "serious" but as a place to meet others that love to share their useless knowledge with others. Everyone is welcome to this event even if trivia is not your strong suite. Also note, that by signing up that you are expect to buy food and drinks to help support the venue.
