Celebrate Thanksgiving with a scenic fall walk through Toronto’s ravines as we make our way to Evergreen Brick Works. Along the way, enjoy the crisp autumn air, brilliant fall colours, and a peaceful escape from the city.
We’ll spend about 30 minutes exploring the Brick Works, taking in its history, trails, and unique setting before heading back through Mount Pleasant Cemetery — one of Toronto’s largest and oldest cemeteries, with plenty of history and beautiful seasonal scenery.
For those who’d like to keep the day going, we’ll finish with a cozy Thanksgiving lunch at Swiss Chalet.Their seasonal special is expected to be around $18.29 plus tax and tip and includes stuffing, cranberry sauce, your choice of side, a roll, and a slice of pie — a pretty good way to finish a Thanksgiving walk! 🦃🥧

### More About the Brick Works 🧱
From 1889 through the 1980s, the Don Valley Brick Works was one of Canada’s leading brickyards. In the 1990s, the former quarry was restored by the City of Toronto and the Toronto and Region Conservation Authority, transforming the site into the natural and cultural destination we know today.
Opened to the public in 1996, Evergreen Brick Works now combines history, nature, wildlife, and trails in the heart of Toronto’s ravine system. In autumn, the surrounding landscape comes alive with reds, oranges, and golds, making it one of the city's great places to enjoy the fall colours.***

### Restless Spirits, Strange Stories & Toronto After Dark
The thing about ghosts is… they don’t always stay where they died.
Sometimes they linger in places they loved. Sometimes they remain where unfinished business keeps them tethered. And sometimes, apparently, they just really like a particular chair.On this walking tour, we'll explore some of the stranger stories connected to Queen West and Yonge Street — from hospitals and theatres to music halls, historic buildings, and some rather unexpected places.
Some of these people met their fate on these streets.
Most didn't.Ghosts are funny that way.
This is a curated storytelling experience, combining Toronto history, local legends, and some of the city's more unusual ghost stories.

## 👻 What We'll Explore
We'll begin outside the Four Seasons Centre for the Performing Arts and make our way east toward Yonge Street.
Along the way, we'll hear stories about:- 🔫 Don't play with guns… again

- 🎶 The spirit who stayed for the music
- 🪑 Who sat in that chair?
- 👻 Other strange stories, unexplained encounters, and Toronto legends
We'll finish at Yonge-Dundas Square.
The walk will take approximately 90 minutes, depending on the pace of the group.We'll remain outdoors throughout the experience and will not be entering any buildings.
