### 🌰 Hogg’s Hollow Fall Walk & Lunch! 🍂
Join us for a beautiful fall walk through Hogg’s Hollow, one of Toronto’s most charming and historic neighbourhoods tucked away in the heart of North York. With its winding roads, forested trails, and storybook bridges, this area feels like a hidden village in the middle of the city — especially when the leaves turn golden and the air smells like autumn.
We’ll stroll through the valley where the Don River West Branch winds through old stone homes, rustic pathways, and scenic ravines. Along the way, we’ll talk a bit about the history — from James Hogg, the Scottish settler who founded a mill here in the 1820s, to the tragic
“Hogg’s Hollow Disaster” of 1960, when five workers lost their lives during the building of a tunnel (a story that forever changed workplace safety laws in Ontario).
After our walk, we’ll head over to Swiss Chalet for a cozy lunch — because nothing says fall like warm comfort food and good company! 🍗
