🎨 McMICHAEL CANADIAN ART GALLERY & TEXTILE MUSEUM OF CANADA + DINNER 🎨

Discover two of Canada’s leading cultural institutions in one day with this special bus excursion from the Textile Museum of Canada to the McMichael Canadian Art Collection. Explore six exhibitions spanning contemporary fashion, textiles, Indigenous art, and iconic Canadian landscapes, while enjoying comfortable round-trip transportation between venues, and admission to both Art Gallery and Museum. There will also be an opportunity to purchase a hearty lunch from Food Dudes, and join for dinner after returning. It’s an all-Canadian outing that is not to be missed! Note: this tour is sold out, but I have secured a few tickets for members.

EXPECT
- full access to six exhibitions
- Starting with the Textile Museum of Canada: Made By Many: 50 Years of the Textile Museum of Canada, *Taking Shape: Recent Acquisitions*, and lways in Fashion
- Then, on to the McMichael for three exhibitions: Old Growth: Masterworks by the Group of Seven and their Contemporaries, Fresh Air: New Acquisitions in Context, and Early Days: Indigenous Art from the McMichael

ITINERARY
(Bus times are approximate and subject to change due to traffic)
11:50AM: Meet outside the Textile Museum of Canada at 55 Centre Ave.
12:00PM: Enter the Museum as a group as it opens
1:25PM: Meet at the entrance to the Museum to board the bus as a group
1:30PM: Bus departs from Textile Museum of Canada
2:30PM: Arrive at McMichael Canadian Art Collection
3:50PM: Meet outside the entrance to McMichael to board the bus as a group
4:00PM: Bus departs from McMichael Canadian Art Collection
5:00PM: Bus arrives at Textile Museum of Canada
5:00PM: Head out for dinner at a nearby restaurant

COST:
Bus Art Tour (includes round-trip bus transportation from Textile Museum, plus admissions to both McMichael Gallery and Textile Museum) + Taxes + Meetup fee = $30

SIGNING-UP

• RSVP Yes/No to dinner after, and include your cell and email (required for all out-of-town events, only visible to me). Everyone goes on the waitlist until they have paid for their ticket. I will then reach out to you with the email to transfer the $30 to secure your spot. Once you pay for your ticket, you will be moved to attending. There are no refunds.
• Your ticket will be provided at the meetup time and location.
• A reminder will be sent the day before with my cell and reminder details where to meet and when.
• RSVPs close 2 days prior and cancellations may result in a No Show and impact future attendance.
