🍔🌭☀️ Summertime Salaam Jam — Picnic in the Park☀️🧁🍉

Assalaam Alaikum all!

I hope that you all have had a wonderful and memorable summer so far. As the end of August nears, summers ending is also getting closer. To take advantage of the summer sunshine (and hot weather!) we’re having an open air picnic in the park in keeping with previous years.

All are welcome to join us for our to summer on the last long weekend. What better way to celebrate than in the open air in the park. This year we’ll be heading a little west to Marie Curtis Park.

Depending on the weather, we aim to have our Summer Salaam Jam on Saturday August 30th. If not, then we’ll have it on Sunday, August 31st.

What to expect:

>BBQ(burgers and sausages), Food, Drinks >Fruits and desserts.
>Competitive games and prizes

What to bring:
> Sunscreen🧴 , sunglasses🕶️ & a hat 👒
> Prayer mat and comfortable shoes 👟
> Folding chair, although there will be benches.
> You’re encouraged to bring your own reusable plate, utensils and cup
to reduce waste.
> Your appetite and energy!

We’ll be praying Zuhr, Asr and maybe Magrib in the open air.

Cost: $26 transferred to tmf786@outlook.com. $1 to support the TMF platform and a portion to reserve the spot. The majority is for supplies. Please transfer starting August 10th and no later than August 23rd. RSVP closes on Aug 27th, no refunds after this.
