About us
Toronto Oasis is a community that meets regularly to create a place to celebrate the human experience. Each week we gather to discuss a wide variety of issues and interests. Launched in February 2017, Toronto Oasis welcomes all people who want to be part of a community exploring life through reason.

Our program will run from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. You can join the meeting starting at 10:45 am for our open social.
Our featured speaker will be Elka Enola, a Toronto Oasis participant. In her presentation, Elka will explore the concept of hope, its function, both positive and negative, from a psychological point of view and how it fits in your life.
We also have live music booked. Our guest musician will be Emma Langley (they/them), a nonbinary songwriter, educator, and puppeteer who lives on Malcolm Island, on the traditional territory of the ‘Namgis, Mamalilikala, and Kwakiutl Nations. Emma finds joy creating puppet shows with children and leading a songwriting circle. Emma loves accordions and Pomeranians, making new friends, and sitting with old trees.
