[Online] The Truth About Lying

Our program will run from 11 am to 12:30 pm. You can join in to the meeting starting at 10:30 am for our open social. After 12:30 pm, we will also have an extended discussion for half an hour, until 1:00 pm.
Misinformation and disinformation abound. And it only seems to be getting worse. Is the world descending into a reality in which we cannot trust anything? Maybe. Maybe not. It's complicated.
Join us for a presentation that examines "what lying is", "who is lying", and "the high price of being dishonest".
We will be watching and then discussing an episode of PBS "Be Smart" hosted by Joe Hanson. The topic and video were selected and will be introduced by John Shannon, a Toronto Oasis volunteer.
