[Online] Queer Evangelist: A Socialist Clergy's Radically Honest Tale

Our program will run from 11 am to 12:30 pm. You can join in to the meeting starting at 10:30 am for our open social. After 12:30 pm, we will also have an extended discussion for half an hour, until 1:00 pm.
We will be watching and then discussing a video of an episode of TVO’s The Agenda, featuring an interview of Cheri DiNovo, a queer very radical United Church minister, who performed the first legal same-sex marriage in Ontario, and became a provincial NDP MPP for a number of years. The interview is about her book: Queer Evangelist: A Socialist Clergy's Radically Honest Tale. The video was suggested and will be introduced by Dan Cooperstock, a Toronto Oasis organizer.
