About us
The Toronto Open Relating Community is a loose collection of people in Toronto and the GTA practicing creative alternatives to traditional (heteronormative, monogamous) relational approaches.
The community has been around in various forms for over two decades, and is constantly evolving. It encompasses people who are interested in flexible ways to connect - emotionally, sensually, sexually, and other ways.
Many of its members have a polyamorous relationship style; most are committed to some form of consensual non-monogamy, and all are committed to supporting free and healthy sensuality and sexuality. Members are interested in a gamut of related topics including Tantra, k!nk, swinging, medicine journey experiences, and so on.
Members of the community at large connect in various ways, including,
- Organizing events including dinners, parties, and outings at which community members and meet and mingle
- Attending evening gatherings at which open connection and sensual touch are accepted
- Dating one on one and in small groups
- Attending weekend group gatherings at venues outside of Toronto
- Attending festivals and workshops related to sexuality and relating
This meetup group is for people who are interested in learning more about our community and in practicing skills that will help them thrive in it.
