What we’re about
Welcome to Toronto Parents Who Care! Our group is for mature married couples who care about their adult children's' future.
Our events are focused on three things:
1. Meeting other interesting couples who enjoy nature, hiking, discussing books and films and care about the future.
2. Introducing our adult children to each other, if suitable.
3. Helping to make sure our children's future is bright by discussing ways we can combat climate change.
Important Notes:
1. This group is for couples so please attend as a couple.
2. A current photo of the couple together is required to join this group.
3. Please RSVP within the time and date stated in the event description.
4. If you sign up for an even and your plans change, simply edit your RSVP.
5. After three (3) times of failing to attend when your RSVP indicates your attending, you will be removed from the group.
6. This is not a business networking group, so no business solicitations of any kind will be permitted.
7. No-one will be obliged to show pictures of their children to another couple.
8. If another couple feels that their adult son or daughter may be a match for your daughter or son, they are free to divulge further information. However, if you feel that, in your estimation, their son or daughter is not a match for your daughter or son, you can simply say, "We don't think that there is a match here." and they must respect your wishes and cease discussing the matter.
9. This is not a dating site, so don't join our group if your not part of an established couple.
10. If you do not have a single adult child whom you wish to help find their significant other, don't join our group.
