Writing Constructed Languages in Science Fiction and Fantasy

Language should be integrated into the culture of our characters–just like other aspects of worldbuilding. We will discuss constructing languages for our writing and using linguistic features of English to immerse readers. Topics in linguistics will be introduced through scifi/fantasy examples. This talk was also given at Fyrecon 2022.
