The first four limbs of yoga are presented not merely as ethical rules or techniques, but as a practical science of consciousness refinement.- Experience → Distortion → Transformation: Through the dimensions of time and space, experience generates distortions — and distortions generate opportunities for transformation. The work of the aspirant is to consciously refine these experiences into enduring impressions of beauty and love.
- What is an impression? The essence of experience that remains after the physical event, emotional reaction, and personal attachment have passed away — experience without attachment.
- The 12-module arc: Yama, Niyama, Asana, and Pranayama progressively prepare the way for soul contact through purification, right relationship, stabilization, and conscious regulation of life force.
- Not withdrawal, but engagement: This is not a path of asceticism or passivity. The aspirant does not seek to escape the world, but to engage with it more skillfully, more compassionately, and with greater awareness — transforming everyday experience into an opportunity for growth, service, and the realization of our deeper unity with all beings.
Class dynamic: Each session opens with a group centering meditation, followed by a teacher-led lesson with slides. Newcomers are welcome to simply listen in. Those ready to engage are invited to contribute questions or insights. Our goal is an atmosphere of genuine shared inquiry.

About the Teacher
Radhikatma Prabhu is a disciple in the Brahma Sampradaya, one of four authorized Vedic lineages. He received second-level initiation from his spiritual master, Tamal Krishna Goswami, who was a direct disciple of H.D.G.A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, the scholar and teacher who brought Vedic knowledge to the Western world and founded the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).Radhikatma Prabhu spent many years studying and practicing in Israel, Europe and India, where he received training in Vedic rituals and holds the traditional status of Brahmin. During his formation, he worked closely with Tamal Krishna Goswami, who in addition to his spiritual leadership was an accomplished academic, holding a B.A. in Religious Studies and a Ph.D. from Cambridge University, where he authored nine volumes of scholarly work. This period of close service deepened Radhikatma Prabhu's understanding of both the devotional and philosophical dimensions of the tradition.
He brings to this study group both the authenticity of traditional lineage transmission and the ability to make these teachings accessible and relevant to contemporary students seeking to understand Vedic philosophy and apply it.
