Join us for an informative talk on the science and practice of conducting a spiritual expedition, whether to a sacred place or within our own City of Toronto.

Freda Kemp and Daniel Lumanauw will discuss the planning and preparation involved in an expedition, and how this work can expand both our own consciousness and that of the place we are visiting. They will demonstrate how to work with the local deva or angel, drawing on the work of Dorothy Maclean of the Findhorn Foundation, and how to connect respectfully with local elders and spiritual teachers.

The speakers will also share insights and outcomes from their most recent Expedition to the Borough of York. This talk offers a living example of practical spirituality in action, showing how each of us can participate in the expansion of human consciousness right where we are.

### About the Speakers

Freda Kemp is a long-time student of the Ageless Wisdom and has studied with the Centre of Esoteric Studies, the University of the Seven Rays, and the Academy of Synthesis. She has taught spiritual studies and led full moon, equinox, and solstice meditations for over 25 years. Freda is the founder of the Universal Light Centre and the Open Heart School, and serves as a spiritual mentor to many seekers on the path.

Daniel Lumanauw is a lifelong learner whose interests span biology, engineering, statistics, psychology, the Ageless Wisdom, and Tibetan Buddhism. He feels a strong connection to the symbolic and relational teachings of Lama Govinda. Daniel is a student of the Arcane School, Open Heart, and Paramita Centre, and currently serves as Secretary of the Toronto Theosophical Society.
