What we’re about
Have you practiced the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method: breathwork, cold exposure, and the mindset to do it again and again?
Join our group of Toronto Hof'ers to step up your practice, make friends, and be guided by WHM Instructor Steve Beattie from Breathing In Nature. We meet all year around!
It's better together! We meet every Saturday at Humber Bay Park West. We also gather around the 'digital fire' for some online guided breathwork.
All these events are offered through the Gift Economy. Find out how it works and if you wish to make a gift you can do so here.

https://www.breathinginnature.com/the-wild-breath/In our busy lives we get stuck in mental muddle – dwelling in the past and worrying about the future. Our busy brains are dominated by a maladaptive limbic system and we’re stuck in fight, flight, or freeze. We grind away at our desks and our bodies are stiff and painful. Our mind and body are unwell. We are heavy with dis-ease.
Our breath is the energetic link between our mind, our body, our heart and our spirit.
I have studied many different breath work modalities over the years. From ancients shamanic practices of India to the modern shaman Wim Hof, what was once grounded in mysticism is now understood by science.
In this 60-minute class you will learn to use your breath to achieve a deep state of meditation. Starting with a simple observation of your breath you will notice a shift away from the distractions of your mind and become aware of the subtle rhythms of your body – Breath, Heart, Life.
As you take control of your breath you will begin to unlock the power within you to reduce stress, boost creativity and physical performance, and observe a deeper level Self.
This live streaming online class is best experienced with headphones on. If you are new to breathwork, I encourage you to lie down while breathing.

- Wim Hof MethodHumber Bay Park-West, Toronto, ON
It's better when we're together. Come and experience the power of the WHM with a wonderful group of people. We breathe, we go into the cold and we teach our bodies to heat up properly. We develop resilience and the mindset to use these powerful healing tools over and over again, all year round. This gathering is fully guided by Wim Hof instructor Steve Beattie.
If you are new to this, come on down, enjoy the support and practice in a safe way with us. If you already have a WHM practice this meetup is a great way to take it to the next level, and make lots of new friends.
There will be a fire, snacks and drinks shared by other attendees. We have been doing this 6 for years!
What to bring?
- Yoga mat
- Weather-appropriate clothing (better to dress too warm!)
