Playtest: Counselling Psychology-Based Dungeons & Dragons

Details

Newbies are welcome! No experience with Dungeons & Dragons or any other roleplaying games required. Just bring yourself! Pencils, printouts, and dice will be provided.

Note: The venue (The Guild House) has a $10 + tax seating fee. You will be responsible for paying your own fee when you arrive.

Many new roleplaying games (RPGs; often referred to by the biggest franchaise, Dungeons & Dragons) focus on the social, emotional, and psychological aspects of characters and story arcs. These Wednesday Meetup sessions are for scheduling playtests of my latest prototypes.

Currently on deck is Academia Magica Apocalyptica, a cooperative survival-mystery RPG with a Positive Psychology inspired magic system. The work of Brené Brown's and principles of CBT may also appear. If you're interested in games that explore psychological wellness, sign up for free and come check this out!
