There are many great ways to donate your time as a volunteer in Toronto. Our members come from all walks of life and want to make a difference!

This group originally started as an adjunct to Not Just Tourists Toronto, but is expanding to cover all humanitarian volunteer opportunities in Toronto. To list organizations and events, please contact the group coordinator through the meetup messaging system.

Wednesday Medical Supplies Pack

Emmanuel Howard Park United Church (in Roncesvalles)

Join us as we pack medical supplies into suitcases for travelers to take to developing countries. For more information, please see njttoronto.com (http://njttoronto.com/) We meet in the church gymnasium at 6:00 pm, entrances off of Wright Avenue, or on the north side of the church from the parking lot. (Go Downstairs!) Feel free to join us for drinks (both alcoholic and non) at a local eatery after!

Dinner with Dignity for those in need

Roncesvalles United Church

Every Sunday dinner is served to those in need in the church gym. About 120 Guests are served a nutritious meal tableside by volunteers. All are welcome, the dinner is non-religious. Meal prep starts at 9:30 am, with a cafeteria style lunch served at 1:30. For those wanting to help before 5 pm, please see Maria or Carolyn. For dinner, volunteers serve plated meals to those in need, and then help clean up. The kitchen is located in the basement of the church at the corner of Wright and Roncesvalles Avenue.
