Liam Mc hike - Slieve Donard - Ulsters highest peak - Meelmore Lodge

Meeting at Meelmore Lodge car park for 09.45am…on the trail thereafter.

This hike is approx. 17.5km and approx. 1,100m ascent so it will be a good day out. It is Slieve Donard, Ulsters highest peak at 849m, heading out from Meelmore Lodge we will head out towards Hares Gap, then joining the Mourne wall we will head up to Donard, returning back via the Brandy Pad and a few tracks & trails in between. This will be a great day out.

Appropriate hiking gear is a must on this hike, boots, sufficient water, 2 litres, lunch / snacks, hiking poles.

We will look to carpool if possible (closer to the time). Weather may be a factor on this hike going ahead (will check this closer to the time).
