👣 Hike Description
Join us for an unforgettable day exploring the very best of Brighton’s coastline, countryside, and iconic seaside charm. This scenic circular hike begins in the vibrant heart of Brighton, taking us through the city’s famous streets and quirky historic lanes before we head out into the breathtaking landscapes of the South Downs National Park.
Leaving the lively seafront behind, we’ll make our way through the peaceful rolling hills of Standean Bottom, surrounded by open countryside and sweeping panoramic views. Along the route, we’ll visit the picturesque village of Rottingdean — a hidden coastal gem known for its historic character, charming cottages, and views of the beautiful Rottingdean Windmill standing proudly above the village.

From there, we continue along the spectacular White Cliffs coastline, where dramatic sea views and fresh coastal air make this one of the most stunning walking routes in Sussex. We’ll also pass through Brighton Marina Village before returning towards the city, with views of the iconic Brighton Palace Pier and Brighton’s lively beachfront atmosphere.

To end the day, we’ll spend some relaxing time on the beach, enjoying the sea breeze, soaking up the vibrant Brighton vibe, and watching the sunset over the coast (if weather permits) — the perfect finish to an incredible hiking experience.
