Biking - Ohiopyle to Confluence (Beginner) - 25 Miles

This event will coincide with a camping event at our campground near Mt. Davis, so please be sure to check that out as well if you’d like to get the full Trail Buddies experience and the best we have to offer.

This will be about a 12.5 mile out and back day ride on the GAP trail between Ohiopyle and Confluence. We’ll stop for lunch at the Lucky Dog Café in Confluence, then turn around and head back. Once we return to Ohiopyle, we can stop at the Kickstand Ice Cream Shop across the street to grab a nice cold refreshing afternoon treat. The pace for this ride will be casual and will likely be between 6 – 10 mph.

We’ll meetup at the PIN (Laurel Highlands Welcome and Information Center) at 10:30, but PLEASE give yourself ample time to find parking and to unload and prep your bike. There are several parking lots in this area but they can get crowded rather quickly, so give yourself extra time to park your vehicle. Also, keep in mind that cell reception in this area is spotty at best since Ohiopyle is down in a valley.
