The Walker Ranch loop is a hike that offers something for everyone: a waterfall, beautiful meadows, scenic views of the city and snow capped peaks, challenging inclines, two bridges, and possibly even a train.

Distance: 7.7 miles
Elevation: 1800 ft.
Well behaved dogs are welcome. We should be done around noon. Then we'll head to the Boulder Creek Festival
Carpooling:
Since we are going to the creek fest after the hike, we'll park closer to it so we can all walk together. Meet at 8th & University at 8:30. From Baseline, turn right on 9th go about 1/2 mile then turn left on University.
Directions to the trailhead: From Chautauqua Park drive ~7.9 miles up Flagstaff Rd and turn left on the dirt road leading to the TH parking lot. It's about a 20 minute drive from Chautauqua.
