Walker Ranch Hike
Details
The Walker Ranch loop is a classic Boulder hike that is 7.9mi in length with 1,610 ft elevation gain. It crosses South Boulder Creek twice with good views. Full description here:
We will start at the main Walker Ranch trail head at 7:30 AM, both to avoid the heat and hopefully get parking spots in the parking lot, which gets crowded on the weekends.
If anyone wants to car pool from Boulder, we can meet at the RTD - Broadway/27th Way Park-N-Ride at 7:00 AM:
- 601 27th Way, Boulder, CO 80305
Please post a note if you are planning to meet at the Park-N-Ride to car pool so we know who will be there. Maybe plan on arriving a few minutes early.
It should take about 4 hours for the hike. Afterwards, we can go to the West End Tavern on Pearl St. for food or drinks:

They have a nice roof top patio and hopefully the weather will cooperate. Currently they predict a 24% chance of rain on Sunday.
