Training Tails

Hi all! I created this group once about two years ago and unfortunately moved away so had to close it. Since then I’ve moved back to the area and am starting up my training group again to help with my dogs reactivity.

This group is for anyone who wants to work on basic training skills with their dog such as recall, neutrality, and leash manners.

I will be using what I learned from taking my pup to a professional trainer years ago but want to be very clear that I am by no means a professional myself. I simply want to offer basic tips to help others.

Training will take place in a group setting. Location will vary based off weather, time of year and what that session will be focusing on. Please use your own discretion as to whether your dog can handle the specific situation.

Things you can expect us to work on during training sessions.

• neutrality around other dogs and people
• recall with and without distractions
• leash manners
• trail etiquette
• neutrality in pet friendly public locations

*All new members will be required to sign a waiver at their first session.
