About us
Cultivating authentic expression, compassionate listening, and meaningful connection.
Reconnect with your authentic voice—and with the parts of yourself that have been waiting to be heard—in a welcoming community where every person is seen, heard, and valued.
Many of us learned to stay quiet, make ourselves smaller, or hide parts of ourselves in order to feel safe, accepted, or understood. Many of us have also felt very connected to our voice, but want to sharpen our supportive listening/presence skills.
Transcend Together is a facilitated peer support group created for individuals who are ready to reconnect with their authentic expression through meaningful conversation, guided practices, and genuine human connection. It's also for those who want to work more on being present for others.
This is not public speaking training, group therapy, or psychotherapy.
Rather than focusing on fixing yourself, this group invites you to reconnect with the voice, wisdom, and authenticity that already exist within you—in the company of others doing the same.
It is a supportive space to gently explore your voice—physically, emotionally, and energetically—while building authentic connection with others who are on a similar journey.
Throughout the series, we may explore:
- Somatic practices that promote relaxation, body awareness, and greater ease in self-expression.
- Gentle voice and throat exercises designed to strengthen authentic expression and, for those who resonate with an energetic perspective, support balance within the throat chakra.
- Guided meditations, mindfulness practices, and occasional eye-gazing exercises that encourage presence, connection, and self-awareness.
- Vocal harmonization through spoken word, humming, chanting, or simple song (participation is always optional).
- Reflective group discussions that invite honest sharing, compassionate listening, and meaningful connection.
There is no expectation to perform or "get it right." You are always encouraged to participate at your own pace and in ways that feel comfortable for you. Every exercise is an invitation, never an obligation.
How the Peer Support Group Works
- Each cohort "circle" meets at an initial "connection" gathering to build trust, safety, and authentic connection.
- If you find that the group is a good fit, the same participants will determine their 2nd and 3rd sessions together, creating a consistent and supportive environment where growth and connection can develop more naturally.
- After the 3rd session, the group can determine if they would like to continue meeting and at what intervals.
- New participants can join an existing circle if all current members are agreeable and if there are slots open (this will be indicated on the meetup event).
- To foster meaningful connection, each circle is intentionally limited to 6 participants.
- We ask participants to view the experience as one shared and progressive journey rather than three individual events.
Week One: 🌿 Awakening / Community Connection - Discovering Your Authentic Voice
Our first gathering serves as an introduction to the community and the Voice Empowerment process.
During this session, you'll:
- Meet the facilitator and fellow participants.
- Learn about the structure and intentions of the group.
- Establish shared agreements around confidentiality, respect, and creating a safe space for one another.
- Experience introductory grounding and voice practices.
- Ask questions and determine whether the group feels like the right fit.
Those who feel aligned with the group are invited to continue together for Weeks Two and Three as the same circle.
Weeks 2 & 3 - Voice Empowerment Sessions
