About us
Hello, are you new to the Minneapolis area, or maybe been here but struggled to find your community? Are you scared of what is happening in our country and looking for some other people? This group may be for you. The goal of this group is to help people find their people. The more community you have, the safer you can feel in the face of adversity or even oppression.
My name is Celium, and I have been living in the Twin Cities for less than a year, and have noticed it can be hard to get in with the locals. Like extremely hard, why they gotta make it this hard? I figured maybe that as a sign to start up a group for people just looking to find other friends and explore their new area.
Personally, I am an arts and outdoors person. So a lot of the activities I will be hosting are going to be around that, but I am hopeful that other members will want to plan different activities. For now, hiking and museums are my gig. I also do photography, so I may schedule some photowalks. The point is to connect. Find your community. Be a part of the group for as long as it suits you, or stay forever. Whatever helps you feel safe in a time when we all just wanna know we are okay.

Yoga at the Union Depot
214 4th Street East Saint Paul, Minnesota, 214 4th Street, St Paul, MN, USWho's ready for some outdoor yoga? Start the weekend with a relaxing one hour session at the Union Depot in downtown Saint Paul. After the yoga, we can visit one of the local coffee shops to socialize.
All skill levels are welcome, but the first Saturdays of the month are aimed at beginners. If you aren't sure if yoga is for you, this is a great way to find out.
Bring a yoga mat, towel, water bottle, or whatever else you need to feel comfortable.

The event is free, but you will have to pay for parking since this is in downtown Saint Paul.

Join us at Sencha Tea Bar (Uptown) for conversation and drinks. They have yummy snacks too! Sencha provides coloring books and markers, crayons, etc. every Sunday for anyone who wants to show their artistic side, or you can bring your own.

Grooving in the Gardens
1225 Estabrook Dr, St Paul, Mi, USJoin us at Como Park's summer concert series outside the Como Conservatory. This week's concert will feature Miss Georgia Peach (classic country) along with the Brick Oven Pizza Food Truck for those who need something to keep their energy up. Other refreshments will also be available, and there will be kid-friendly activities as well.
Please bring a lawn chair or blanket, sunscreen, a sun hat, or whatever else you will need to enjoy the concert.
