​Do you love music and dream of creating your own beats? We are MIN t and Jekka, and we're Transpose Berlin - a space for learning music and artist development. We'll show you, step by step, in a relaxed atmosphere and a professional studio, how to get started.
​During this workshop, you'll learn not only how to produce music in Ableton Live, but also how to write a song, work with samples, create your own instruments, and express your ideas through sound.
​With over 10 years of combined experience, we've been through it all: from teaching ourselves to studying at Berklee College of Music. We'll share practical tips and tricks based on our experience in the music industry.
​Bring your laptop with the Ableton Live trial version installed, a pair of headphones, and an open mind. ;)
​By the end of the workshop, you'll be able to create your first track and turn your ideas into music. You'll also learn about:

• ​the Ableton Live interface
• ​beat making with Drum Rack
• ​digital instruments
• ​MIDI tracks
• ​audio tracks
• ​how to come up with a melody
• ​how to build a song structure
• ​sound design and sampling
• ​the essential equipment for music production

This workshop is open to all genders. There is a separate FLINTA workshop on the same day
